(Minghui.org) The Tian Guo Marching Band participated in the Street Parade which was part of the Tamsui Art Carnival in Taiwan on October 19, 2024. This was the seventh time the band participated in the carnival. As the finale performance, the band was warmly received by parade spectators.

It was windy and raining when the parade started, but the intermittent rain didn’t dampen people’s enthusiasm. Close to 10,000 spectators lined the parade route.

The Tian Guo Marching Band was warmly received during the Street Parade.

The parade host introduced the Tian Guo Marching Band to the crowd and said the band brought uplifting music and optimism with its spirit of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The host praised their neat alignment and spectacular performance.

A man took video of the Tian Guo Marching Band. He told band members that he saw the Tian Guo Marching Band in a parade in the U.S. and was very impressed. The band members told him that they all practice Falun Dafa and wish to spread the message of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance around the world. The man praised these principles.

According to Ms. Huang Shunuu, the director of the band, four of the 140 band members traveled from Japan, and those from Kaohsiung and Pingtung had to leave home early that morning to catch a six-hour bus ride. She said band members weren’t deterred by the rain, and their music was as resonant as always.
