(Minghui.org) Although Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published in November 2004, I did not know about it until I began to practice Falun Dafa a year later.
I was 11 when another practitioner introduced me to Dafa. Before that, I had only read propaganda that defamed Falun Dafa in my textbooks. Like many other students, I was deceived and brainwashed. But reading Zhuan Falun, the main teachings of Falun Dafa, changed everything. I learned what the practice really is and was impressed by how it guided people to improve using profound principles, that is, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the universal law that is important to all of us.
I gradually came to understand that the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa is vicious and unprecedented. Tens of millions of people have been forced to give up their belief, and tens of thousands have been sent to prisons and forced labor camps because they refuse to. Given the strict censorship in China, we do not know how many people have lost their lives in this suppression nor how many families have been broken apart. Because I practiced Falun Dafa, even when I was a minor, I was held in a brainwashing center. Because I gave people copies of the Nine Commentaries and told others about the persecution, I was sent to a labor camp for two years.
Fortunately, all these crimes committed by the CCP are thoroughly documented in the Nine Commentaries—from its bad deeds in its early years to recent tragedies. The Nine Commentaries help people to see the CCP for what it truly is. As a result, people are clear on the sins it has committed, and many have decided to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. According to the Nine Commentaries, the CCP appears as a red dragon in another dimension, and it controls members of the CCP and its organizations and continues to poison people’s minds.
Due to Falun Dafa practitioners’s consistent efforts over the past 20 years to spread the Nine Commentaries, more and more Chinese have awakened. Over 430 million have withdrawn from the CCP organizations, and the number increases by tens of thousands every day. Those who know the facts are also helping to share the information with more people.
Here is an interesting story. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of the Nine Commentaries, some local practitioners and I made banners and hung them in different places in the countryside. Someone tore down the banners in an orchard and reported them to the city government. One village officer commented that the person was foolish. “Hardly anyone blindly listens to the CCP anymore,” another village officer added. A police officer visited local practitioners several days later but did not mention Falun Dafa during their conversation. When practitioners told him how the CCP had made up lies to defame Falun Dafa and how innocent practitioners were mistreated for their belief, this officer agreed to quit the CCP organizations as well.
