(Minghui.org) The annual Pumpkin Festival was held in Laconia, New Hampshire on October 26, 2024. Some Falun Dafa practitioners from Massachusetts and New Hampshire participated in the festival. They set up a booth to introduce the spiritual practice, and demonstrated the five Falun Dafa exercises.

Falun Dafa practitioners from Massachusetts and New Hampshire introudced the practice at the Pumpkin Festival in Laconia, New Hampshire on October 26, 2024.

A family from Romania stopped at the Falun Dafa booth. When the mother listened to her daughter explaining the characteristics of Falun Dafa and how Falun Dafa cultivation directly touches the human heart, she said, “It is important to cultivate the human heart. Although I am a Catholic, I know Falun Dafa is a good practice. The most important thing for a person is to have a kind heart. Practitioners follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. I like it very much.”

Her husband said that they grew up in a communist society and knew the nature of the communist party well. He added, “When the communist party wants to persecute dissidents, no one can stop it. You Falun Dafa practitioners are really amazing.”

A man said that he had seen a Falun Dafa truth-clarification booth when he accompanied his wife visiting her parents’ home in Malaysia. When he learned that Falun Dafa was a high level practice, he asked for some introductory materials to show his wife.

A father brought his daughter to the Falun Dafa booth. He knew about Falun Dafa, as he had lived in Hong Kong and Shanghai some time earlier. He explained that the Chinese communist government said that people have freedom of belief, but in reality they do not. Their life in China was very unhappy, and church activities were restricted. He said, “Falun Gong practitioners have been exposing the persecution all the time. This is admirable.”
