1. [Beijing] Ms. Yang Jinxiang Facing Trial

Ms. Yang Jinxiang from the Yanqing District was arrested at home in Yongning Town on June 6, 2024. She was scheduled to stand trial in the Haidian District Court at 9:30 a.m. on November 1, 2024.

2. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Case Against Three Practitioners Submitted to the Procuratorate

Ms. Yu Shikun, her daughter Ms. Liu Meili, and her son-in-law Mr. An Chaoxu, were arrested by officers from the Dayu Police Station and Mentougou District Domestic Security Division in June 2024. The procuratorate returned their case to the police in September 2024, citing insufficient evidence. To collect evidence against them, the police went door to door in Yudi Village, Boye County, Hebei Province, asking the villagers if they saw the practitioners distributing Falun Gong materials. They submitted the practitioners’ case to the procuratorate again on October 12, 2024.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested or Harassed

Ms. Wang Lian from Xiangtilanshan in the Shenbei New District was arrested at 7 p.m. on October 24, 2024, after she was reported to the police for distributing information materials about Falun Gong in a nearby residential community. Zhenliang Police Station officers ransacked her home. She has been detained ever since.

Practitioner Han Yun was arrested in October 2024. Ms. Li Chunlan and Ms. Lan Yulin were placed under surveillance.

4. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Luo Linrong Released After Developing High Blood Pressure in Custody

Ms. Luo Linrong from the Naxi District was arrested in Lantian Town by officers from the Jiangyang District Police Department on September 19, 2024. The police did not inform her family of her whereabouts. They only found out that she was in a detention center when a guard called them on October 22 and told them to come get Ms. Luo because her blood pressure was too highh for her to remain in custody.

5. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Jibo Harassed

Ms. Li Jibo is a teacher at the Yulin Town Center School in Lanxi County. The Lanxi County Domestic Security Division pressured her principal Gao Qichao to persuade her to go to the police station on July 2, 2024. The police ordered Ms. Li to sign a statement to renounce Falun Gong, which she refused to do. The officers took photo of her and then released her.

6. [Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Yang Guijuan Detained

Ms. Yang Guijuan of Shendang Town, Haiyan County, was arrested by over ten police officers on October 12, 2024, and is being held in the Jiaxing City Detention Center.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Kou Rumin Admitted to Prison to Serve a 1.5-Year Term

Ms. Kou Rumin, in her 70s, was sentenced to 1.5 years on April 22, 2024, by the Chaoyang District Court. She was taken back into custody at the Chaoyang District Detention Center following her conviction and transferred to the Beijing Women’s Prison in late October 2024.
