5. [Xinhuang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Cai Weili Harassed
6. [Chongqing] Mr. Wang Xian’an Held in Brainwashing Center
7. [Chongqing] Ms. Huang Daifang Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison
8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiaohong and Ms. Guo Hongyan Released from Prison

1. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wei Honggang Arrested

Mr. Wei Honggang was arrested by officers from Baiyilaga Township Police Station around 8 a.m. on October 29, 2024.

2. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chu Qingzhen Detained

Ms. Chu Qingzhen was arrested at work by three officers on the afternoon of October 29, 2024. She is being held in in Muyudian Police Station.

3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Xing Yanbo Detained

Xing Yanbo, gender unknown, was arrested by Xicheng Police Station officers after 9 p.m. on July 7, 2024 when Xin was distributing Falun Gong flyers in a neighborhood. Xing is being held in the Daqing City Second Detention Center. The Dumeng County Procuratorate issued an arrest warrant on August 9 and the prosecutor has received the case from the police.

4. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Awaiting Verdicts

Ms. Wang Fan, Mr. Du Jianxin, and Mr. Fu Jian were arrested by Binhai Domestic Security Division officers on November 29, 2023. They have appeared in the Dongying District Court three times on July 3, October 16 and October 21, 2024. They are now awaiting verdicts in the Niuzhuang Detention Center, where they have been held since their arrests.

5. [Xinhuang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Cai Weili Harassed

Three plainclothes officers, two males and one female, went to Ms. Cai Weili’s home on the morning of October 16, 2024. She was not home. They intimidated her husband and ordered him to stop her from distributing Falun Gong flyer. They threatened to put her in a labor camp if she was arrested. They also demanded him to notify them if she went out.

Four plainclothes officers returned to Ms. Cai’s home on the morning of October 23, 2024. They questioned if she still practiced Falun Gong. She did not answer directly, but tried to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to them.

6. [Chongqing] Mr. Wang Xian’an Held in Brainwashing Center

Mr. Wang Xian’an of Jiangjin District, was arrested in Changshou District on August 9, 2024. He was held for 49 days in a brainwashing center in Jiangjin District and released on October 15, 2024.

7. [Chongqing] Ms. Huang Daifang Sentenced to 18 Months in Prison

Ms. Huang Daifang of Jiangjin District was arrested at home on April 24, 2023. She was held in the Jiangjin District Detention Center and sentenced to 18 months in prison. She was released on October 23, 2024.

8. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiaohong and Ms. Guo Hongyan Released from Prison

Ms. Chen Xiaohong, a retired teacher of Dongying City 23rd Middle School, and Ms. Guo Hongyan, an employee of Dongying City Daming Group, were released on October 23, 2024 after they both finished serving 3.5 years for practicing Falun Gong.
