(Minghui.org) Practitioners in western France held an information day at the Place de l’écluse in Nantes on December 7, 2024, before Human Rights Day. They introduced Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) to passers-by and told them about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
Falun Dafa is a spiritual practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. In 1999, the CCP regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong. For 25 years, Falun Gong practitioners in China have been illegally detained, sentenced to prison, sent to mental hospitals, tortured, and subjected to various other means of the persecution, including the CCP state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.
Many people went to learn about the situation and sign a petition to the G7+7 [Editor’s note: G7+EU countries+Argentina, Australia, India, Israel, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan] to stop the CCP’s forced organ harvesting in China, which was initiated by the DAFOH (Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting). All signatures from the 30 countries participating in this action were handed over to the heads of the G7 countries.

A young customs official signed the petition after learning about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. He said that he was aware of the situation and explained that they were collecting information on organ trafficking. This issue, like arms trafficking, is very profitable and officials need to be paying attention to it. He encouraged the practitioners and said they should continue their efforts.
A group of students from Spain signed the petition and praised practitioners for exposing the persecution.

An American high school student who was studying French in Nantes learned about the persecution and signed the petition. Many people signed the petition and wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa. They thanked the practitioners for being there and raising awareness.
A young Chinese student told practitioners that she wished to get links to different information websites and petitions, including the Chinese language Epoch Times and the END CCP website.
On June 25, 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed the Falun Gong Protection Act to sanction those who participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. This news stunned many Chinese tourists. Those who participated in the persecution will be denied entering the United States, their assets will be frozen, and they will face penalties. This news is spread by word of mouth in China through Chinese tourists and serves as a warning to those who participate in the persecution.
The U.S. Falun Gong Protection Act (H.R. 4132) was proposed by U.S. Congressman Scott Perry in 2023. The bill is the first time that the U.S. Congress has made a binding commitment to take strong legal action against the persecution and the live organ harvesting, making Falun Gong the core of the legislation and action.
