(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Western Australia participated in the Christmas celebration and parade held in Ellenbrook, a suburb of Perth, on December 14, 2024.

Practitioners set up a booth to demonstrate the gentle, soothing five exercises and introduced Falun Dafa to the public. They told people about Falun Dafa’s principles—Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance—and about the ongoing persecution of practitioners. Many visitors were interested in learning the exercises and asked where the local practice sites were. Many people signed a petition to end the persecution of Falun Dafa, and some said, “The truth should be shared so more people can understand.”

In the grand Christmas parade that evening, practitioners did a dragon dance, gave a waist drum performance, Vietnamese dance group, and flag team. Spectators along the route applauded, cheered, took photos, and recorded videos of practitioners.

We Absolutely Need Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance

Daniel Scantlebury and Emma Swain visited the Falun Dafa booth. Daniel said he felt the energy, “The energy here is truly wonderful. It’s very powerful. I love it.”

Referring to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Emma said, “We absolutely need this for a better world. These values are beautiful, and what you (Falun Dafa practitioners) are doing is wonderful. These principles are especially important for educating children.”

Daniel added, “Truthfulness is one of the most valuable virtues. Everyone should strive to be kind and humble.”

Regarding the CCP’s persecution, Emma said, “It’s absolutely shocking.” Daniel took some informational materials and said he would learn more about Falun Dafa.

Sisters Sameepta Sally and Pritika Sally from Gujarat, India, watched the parade with their family. They were delighted to see the Falun Dafa booth. Pritika said, “I love the vibrant colors and energy here.”

Sameepta said, “If we practice Falun Dafa’s principles in our daily lives, we can make our world a better place.”

Pritika added, “Without Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, our world would be full of hatred. We need these principles.”

The Truth Should Be Spread

Tyrelle said he appreciates Falun Dafa’s principles.

Krystal Peach and her son Tyrelle first saw Falun Dafa at last year’s Christmas parade. This year, as they passed the Falun Dafa booth, 17-year-old Tyrelle said, “I love the energy of Falun Dafa.”

Krystal Peach said, “Falun Dafa’s principles are wonderful. The world needs this. It brings peace.”

When learning about the persecution, Krystal said, “The persecution is disgusting. The truth should be spread so more people can know about it. I never heard of this before. I believe that the more people hear the truth, the less tolerance there will be for this persecution, and it can be stopped.”

Local resident Yasmin Hill signed the petition to end the persecution of Falun Dafa and said, “The principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are good. We need honesty, help those in need, or even just doing small acts of kindness, and being accepting of others. People have different beliefs. Falun Dafa benefits the community, themselves, and others. It’s wrong to harm or suppress such a positive practice.”
