(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in the Kansai region of Japan participated in an annual festival in Osaka and a community event in Koriyama, Ibaraki City, during November and December 2024.

The events were held on November 10 and November 30 at the Higashinari Sports Center and the Kita Ward Iseikai International General Hospital, respectively. Practitioners have also been invited to participate in the volunteer festival at the Iseikai International General Hospital in Kita Ward multiple times. At the Higashinari Sports Center, their waist drum team participated for the first time. Their performance and exercise demonstration were warmly welcomed by the public.

Falun Dafa Exercise Demonstration and Waist Drum Performances Receive Enthusiastic Response

The events were well attended and many people were drawn to the Falun Dafa exercise demonstrations. Some said that the beautiful and peaceful exercise music brought them inner calm. Many joined practitioners and learned the exercises, and some said that after they did them, they felt warm and relaxed. Some wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa and practice.

Practitioners set up an information booth at Osaka’s Kita Ward event. The booth featured informational materials and display boards about Falun Dafa, and practitioners told visitors about Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Community Event in Koriyama, Ibaraki City

The vibrant multicultural event in the Koriyama area of Osaka Prefecture on December 8, 2024 featured colorful stage performances, food stalls, a market, and other entertainment activities.

This was the second time Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to participate, and their waist drum performance was a highlight of the event. Dressed in traditional golden Tang-style outfits, practitioners performed lively music to celebrate Christmas. Their positive energy and vibrant spirit added to the festive atmosphere and were warmly appreciated by the public.

During the exercise demonstration, the peaceful music attracted many people, who said the music conveyed a sense of peace, focus, strength, and inner calm. Participants said it helped them experience the profound essence of traditional Chinese culture. Despite the chilly wind outdoors, some joined practitioners to learn the exercises. Afterwards, many people said they felt the mental and physical benefits of practicing Falun Gong.
