(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Baotou City, Inner Mongolia] Three Practitioners Face Trial
2. [Tianjin] Ms. Tang Manzhi Arrested
3. [Beijing] The Case Against Ms. Yu Xuelan Submitted to the Court
4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang Arrested and Detained
5. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Xiuying and Qian Ziping Arrested and Detained
6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yuzhi Harassed
7. [Chongqing] Five Practitioners Harassed
8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jin Chaohong Released

1. [Baotou City, Inner Mongolia] Three Practitioners Face Trial

Ms. Meng Lili, Mr. Zhang Ruitong and Ms. Wang Ying were scheduled to be tried in the Baotou City Intermediate Court at 9 a.m. on March 18, 2024.

2. [Tianjin] Ms. Tang Manzhi Arrested

Ms. Tang Manzhi from Damengzhuang Township of Wuqing District, around 70, was arrested at the Chengguan Town Market on the morning of March 12, 2024 when she talked to people about Falun Gong.

3. [Beijing] The Case Against Ms. Yu Xuelan Submitted to the Court

Ms. Yu Xuelan was summoned to the Fengtai District Court on March 7, 2024. Her case was submitted to the court by the Fengtai District Procuratorate.

4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wu Junfang was arrested and held for 15 days in the Ci County Detention Center. When the term ended on March 12, 2024, she was taken to the Chengnan Police Station in the Jinan New District and is currently detained there.

5. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Xiuying and Qian Ziping Arrested and Detained

Qian Ziping (gender unknown) was arrested by officers from the Chengdong Police Station on March 1, 2024. Qian was placed under 10-day detention. 

Ms. Hou Xiuying was arrested around the same time and was placed under 15-day detention.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yuzhi Harassed

Ms. Li Yuzhi was harassed at home by four officers from the Shuangshan Sub-district at 7:50 p.m. on March 4, 2024. 

Ms. Li was harassed at home again by a police officer and a staff member from the property office at 4:10 p.m. on March 11, 2024. They took some photos against her will.

7. [Chongqing] Five Practitioners Harassed

Several practitioners in the Shimahe area of Jiangbei District, including Yang Youzhi, Lei Zhirong, Lei Sulan, Zhang Guilan, and Xu Fuxing, were harassed during the Chinese Communist Party’s Two Sessions.

8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jin Chaohong Released 

Ms. Jin Chaohong from the Shanhaiguan District was released on March 10, 2024 after being imprisoned for 10 months.
