(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Romania held an informational event about Falun Dafa in Brașov on March 9, 2024. They set up a booth and displayed banners and posters, telling people about the benefits of the practice and how practitioners have been mistreated by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the past 24 years.
Many people were happy to hear about the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Some accepted flyers and signed a petition urging the Romanian President to help stop the brutality in China, including the forced organ harvesting.
Two young women were shocked to hear about these egregious human rights violations in China and immediately signed the petition. One said, “More people need to know this from various channels like this. We will share what we learned today with our colleagues.”
A practitioner gave them the link to websites which had more information about Falun Dafa and the persecution, and they happily thanked him.

When they received flyers, four middle-aged women thanked practitioners for the important information. When they heard about how practitioners are mistreated in China for their beliefs, one woman said, “These crimes and persecution against people’s morality must stop.” They said they would tell their families about Falun Dafa and how the CCP persecutes millions of people.
Mariana said she liked the Falun Dafa teachings and that it's wrong for the CCP to suppress practitioners. “The truth is most important, because it will come out no matter how much people try to hide it.”
Two students from the capital city Bucharest were vacationing in Brașov. This was the first time they heard about the persecution against Falun Dafa in China. They were also deeply moved by how practitioners, including young practitioners, were determined in their belief, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
One student said that it was hard to imagine being persecuted like this for trying to be better citizens. Another said that she hopes “the persecution ends soon, so that innocent people would not be killed.” They thanked the practitioner for the information and asked about the practice site in Bucharest, so that they could learn the exercises.
George, who lives in Brașov, signed the petition and said, “The persecution should stop as soon as possible because it is horrible.”
Maria, a student in Brașov, accepted a flyer from a practitioner. She was sorry to hear about the persecution in China and said she did not know about this before. She said the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance should be promoted because they are important for our society.
Sara and Rebeca received the children’s book The Lotus Story.
Two sisters, Sara and Rebeca, as well as seven-year-old Maria, received the children’s book The Lotus Story, which explains the benefits of living according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.
“Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are good, and they always help us,” said Sara. The other girls agreed with these values and felt that they could help a person live a better life.
“Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are beautiful principles,” added Maria.
