(Minghui.org) The Minghui.org website has played a critical role in my cultivation over the years. It has helped me identify the loopholes in my character as well as the gaps in my progress as compared with other Falun Dafa practitioners. Encouraged by articles on Minghui, I am constantly improving myself and keeping up with Master’s Fa-rectification.
Moreover, I have benefited tremendously from preparing and submitting articles to Minghui. Below are my thoughts in this regard.
In cultivation, many of us have felt that Falun Dafa is wonderful and sacred. We have also witnessed that compassionate Master is looking after us all the time and giving us hints about our shortcomings when we need them, something I have experienced. I have seen a large number of miracles over my cultivation journey. From the seemingly accidental opportunity of beginning to practice to overcoming tribulations with righteous thoughts; from the blessings friends and relatives have received after learning the truth about Falun Dafa to udumbara flowers growing in multiple locations in my home; from turning points after xinxing improvement to extraordinary occurrences as a result of strong faith in Master and Dafa. Each has been a memorable moment in my life. By writing down my experiences in validating Dafa, I have articles that can be submitted to Minghui.
Of course, the precious platform of Minghui also provides a way to send greetings to Master on significant festival days. Through such greetings, the voices from our hearts travel far and wide.
The process of writing articles can also help improve our xinxing. Sometimes, we have many ideas, but need help figuring out where to start; sometimes, we have too many items and are not sure which ones to include; sometimes we may take a long time to come up with a satisfactory title. If our intention is righteous and if we have no concern about this or that, we feel the compassionate support from Master, our minds are clear, and we straighten out our thoughts and finish the article. During this process, we are able to let go of attachments to comfort, rushing to write things down, or zealotry.
Furthermore, writing articles is a process of being considerate of others. When encountering difficulties or being unable to find a suitable way of expressing my experiences, I may give up and think I will just rely on the Minghui editors. However, when one’s mind is righteous, he or she may take it a step further and reduce the Minghui editors’ workload. With that thought, I put my heart into every article I write, review and polish it many times, and do my best to make it right before submitting it for publication.
In fact, writing articles is also a process of practicing Truthfulness. If there are things we are not sure about or details we cannot remember, we do not include them. Plus, we do not exaggerate, and always try to write down our experiences faithfully using modest language.
Another consideration is to not be attached to results. If an article is published, we should not feel zealous. Likewise, if an article is not published, we should not feel any sadness or low self-esteem. Regardless of the result, writing an article is part of our cultivation and can motivate us to be more diligent.
Thank you, Master Li, for providing us with such a precious platform to share with each other. Also, thank you, fellow practitioners, for submitting articles and revising them for publication.
