(Minghui.org) It has been nine months since I returned to my hometown to reestablish my business. A woman in her 50s who dragged one leg that didn’t seem to work well came in one day and said, “You’re back in business!”
She looked familiar, and I remembered that she practiced Falun Dafa for a period of time before the persecution began in July 1999.
“What can I do for you?” I asked.
She handed me a piece of white paper and said, “Can I give you this?” I saw that it was a list of names of people who had quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.
After she left, my heart couldn’t quiet down. She had practiced on and off before the onset of the persecution, and I thought she’d quit the practice long ago. Veteran practitioners like myself might think she wouldn’t know about Minghui sharing articles, Master’s new lectures, and the progress of the Fa-rectification. Other practitioners might even stay away from her for safety reasons.
Yet, when many veteran practitioners are now slacking off in their cultivation, she is at the forefront of helping people quit the CCP.
I have met several practitioners like her. Some of them found out about the “three withdrawals” after coming across truth-clarification materials. When they saw the Minghui Weekly, they would put their palms together in a gesture of respect and say with sincere emotion, “Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners!”
Tears cover my face as I write this article. Aren’t we supposed to help those who used to practice Falun Dafa return to cultivation? Let us be diligent, because this is our choice and our responsibility.
