(Minghui.org) Practitioners from the Greater Dallas area gathered at Pegasus Plaza in downtown Dallas at noon on July 18, 2024 to tell people about Falun Dafa, and how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes practitioners, and to call for an end to this 25-year-long injustice.

July 20, 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners worldwide have organized various events to expose the CCP’s wrongdoing, tell people about Falun Gong, and put an end to the persecution.

While heading to work, Yaya picked up a Falun Gong flier. Pointing to the pictures of people doing the exercises, she said this was exactly what she wanted to learn, but she had no time to watch the demonstration as she had to go to work. A practitioner told her that she could register for a free exercise course online, or contact local practitioners to learn the exercises. She said she would definitely do that.

A building’s security guard took a flier distributed by practitioners and soon returned. He asked for more fliers so that he could put them up in the building to let more people know that Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted by the CCP and help stop the persecution.

Zack, who was riding a bicycle, met practitioners at an intersection. He took the flier and read it. He said he moved to Texas from California because he wanted to calm down and figure some things out. He said the CCP is evil because it’s ideology could not tolerate Falun Gong’s principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance and that people should follow these. He said he understood many things through talking with the practitioner and his mind became broader. He said that he would come back to learn more if he had the chance.

Nina and Durin came to the city library that day. They passed by Pegasus Square and talked with several practitioners. They said they gained a lot after learning about Falun Gong, what kind of practice it is, the brutal persecution in China, and the CCP’s harassment of Falun Gong practitioners overseas. They said that practitioners’ efforts to help more people learn about the CCP’s persecution of good people are admirable.
