(Minghui.org) It was recently confirmed by Minghui.org that a 73-year-old Baoding City, Hebei Province resident has been sentenced to three years with a 15,000-yuan fine on December 21, 2023 for practicing Falun Gong, a mind-body discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.
Ms. Fan Shuyin’s ordeal stemmed from an arrest on February 18, 2022, after she was reported for talking to people Falun Gong at a local community fair. The police forced her to fingerprint and sign some unidentified paperwork. She was released hours later.
Ms. Fan was arrested again and had her home ransacked on March 27, 2022. Her printer and computer were confiscated and the decorative couplet on her door was torn down.
