(Minghui.org) Practitioners were invited to participate in the Royal Festival Summer Trade Show 2024, held on July 27-28, 2024, in Markham, Canada.
Ms. Zeinab Davoudmanesh, from the event’s organizing committee, invited practitioners to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises on stage. She also visited the practitioners’ booth to extend a warm welcome, “I am very pleased that Falun Dafa practitioners could attend this trade show. We all know that practitioners are dedicated to promoting physical and mental health worldwide. I believe the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance can benefit everyone in the world.”
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises on stage, and explained the practice in Persian (Farsi) language.

Mahboubeh, Shana, and Aziz learned the exercises.
Mahboubeh, Shana, and Aziz attended the trade show. Shana and Aziz first passed by the practitioners’ booth, and said they were attracted by a video introducing Falun Dafa. A practitioner who spoke Persian then explained the practice to them. After hearing the introduction, they immediately wanted to learn the exercises.
After doing the exercises, Shana and Aziz said they felt great, and called their friend Mahboubeh over. The three of them then learned four sets of exercises together.
After doing the exercises, all three said they felt completely relaxed.
Mahboubeh said, “I’ve had lower back discomfort, but while doing the exercises, I felt warmth in my lower abdomen and my entire body felt relaxed. It was really comfortable. I will continue to learn and practice Falun Dafa when I go home.”
Shana and Aziz don’t speak English, but felt so comfortable after doing the exercises, that they asked Mahboubeh to tell the practitioners how happy they felt. Shana said, “I’ve always had shoulder discomfort, but after practicing the exercises, I feel great relief. I will continue doing them.” Aziz said, “I feel so good! While practicing, I felt warmth in my palms and fingers.”
The practitioners then explained that practicing Falun Dafa is not just about doing the exercises, but also about improving one’s character according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They all wholeheartedly agreed with this.
Nooshin looks forward to joining the group exercise.
Nooshin began practicing after she heard about Falun Dafa at a previous Persian festival. This time, she went to the Falun Dafa booth to do the exercises with other practitioners.
Nooshin shared her experience and said that after learning the exercises, she felt the remarkable effects.
She recalled, “I heard about Falun Dafa at that event a few months ago. After going home, I continued to practice and I read the Falun Dafa teachings. After reading Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Dafa, I noticed some positive changes in my life. While at work, I often silently recite, ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.’ When doing the exercises, I feel great—I’m filled with energy. I really want to practice with other practitioners.” She then exchanged contact information with other practitioners and said she planned to practice with them on Saturday.
Haleh believes meditation can relieve anxiety.
Haleh, a staff member at a nearby immigration company booth, told practitioners, “I saw a Falun Dafa booth at an event many years ago. My family learned about it then, but I didn’t. Seeing it again this time, I want to learn the practice.”
After listening to the introduction about Falun Dafa, Haleh said, “I have many physical and mental issues. I’ve had surgeries on my back and knees, and I’m always in pain. My mind is often filled with various thoughts, sometimes causing anxiety. I believe meditation can help alleviate these symptoms.”
Upon learning that Falun Dafa’s principles are Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, she said, “These principles are important for the whole world. If everyone could embrace compassion, I think we would have the most wonderful world, but unfortunately, people today are not trying to do this. In our lives, practicing forbearance is also very helpful in everything we do.”
Practitioners gave her the online link to the Falun Dafa website and explained how she could sign up for a free workshop.
