(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 7 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Jingping and Others Arrested and Detained
2. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Qingxiang Detained
3. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yuying and Mr. Wang Jianying Arrested
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Fengyan Detained
5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Gu Caiqing Detained

1. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Jingping and Others Arrested and Detained

Ms. Liu Jingping, Wang Lidong (gender unknown), and several other practitioners were arrested by Dashitou Town Domestic Security Division officers on the afternoon of September 7, 2024. One of the practitioners was released on the same day and the rest of them were taken to the Dunhua City Detention Center.

2. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Qingxiang Detained

Ms. Wang Qingxiang of Yuanjiang City was harassed at home by a group of people on September 4, 2024. They ransacked her place, seized her Falun Gong books and printouts, and tried to take her away. She managed to escape without being arrested.

When Ms. Wang went back to the police station the next morning to get her Falun Gong books, the police seized her and dragged her into a police car. She was taken directly to the Yiyang Detention Center.

3. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yuying and Mr. Wang Jianying Arrested

Ms. Wang Yuying, 68, was arrested at home by Fanjiatun Police Station officers on August 6 or 7, 2024. Her home was ransacked.

Mr. Wang Jianying, 80, was arrested at home by Xiangshui Town Police Station officers on August 6 or 7, 2024.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Fengyan Detained

Ms. Zhang Fengyan is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center to serve a 40-day criminal detention. It’s not clear when she was arrested.

5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Gu Caiqing Detained

Gu Caiqing of Quyang County, gender unknown, was arrested while distributing Falun Gong flyers. Gu was detained for 10 days and released on September 8, 2024.
