France: People Condemn the Persecution of Falun Dafa During Event in Paris
(Minghui.org) Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and told people about Falun Dafa and the persecution during an activity in Châtelet, the central district of Paris, on September 13, 2024.

Many people were attracted to the practitioners’ exercise demonstration and introductory activities. All people that practitioners talked to, including college students, artists, and tourists from other countries, were amazed by Falun Dafa practitioners’ courage and steadfastness in the face of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. They encouraged practitioners to continue exposing it.

College student Sacha Maisons said, “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are values everyone needs. The Chinese regime is a dictatorship. People are deprived of their basic rights and freedom. This needs to change. This persecution is stupid and meaningless!”
Visual artist Rafael speaks Chinese and loves Chinese culture. He talked with a practitioner for a long time and said, “The persecution in China is unacceptable in the 21st century. We have to fight the Communist Party’s suppression of ideas and beliefs.”
Jean-Marie, a retired local resident, signed the petition calling for an end to the CCP’s atrocities. “We can’t ignore this persecution,” he said, “It’s unacceptable to treat men and women like this! This is obviously a dictatorship that people should openly criticize.” He said Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are universal values.
Alexandre, a college student, said that the principles of Falun Dafa hit the nail on the head. “If people want to live happily, they should follow these values. Otherwise, they will be lost. Fights and wars happen when people can’t restrain themselves.” He also said he meditates.
Catherine from Canada who works in France, said the CCP’s persecution should be condemned internationally. She said people got close to the Chinese regime due to economic interests, but they closed their eyes to the persecution, which is inhumane. She hopes to see a change. Catherine praised Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and said they were beautiful, the origin of creation and had positive energy everyone should embrace. “I would be so happy if I practiced Falun Dafa!” she said.
