(Minghui.org) I have been making phone calls on the RTC platform for two and a half years. While doing so, my xinxing has been constantly improving. With Master enlightening me, and the help and encouragement of fellow practitioners, I finally learned to clarify the truth on these calls to people in China. Here I would like to share some of my experiences of making these phone calls.
When I first started making truth-clarification phone calls to people in China, I could only persuade one or two people to quit the Chinese Community Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations after more than two hours of calls. After encountering conflicts on these calls, I looked within to find my attachments. It was through more Fa study and daily cultivation that I was able to do so. Every day after making the phone calls, I seriously thought about what I did not say well, and I corrected it next time. And when I had time, I also listened to other practitioners share their experiences in this effort. This was how I gradually learned to clarify the truth over the phone. Of course, there is still a gap between me and other practitioners who do this well.
It was the Chinese New Year when I first learned how to make phone calls to people in China. One day, after calling my own family during the holiday, I suddenly realized that the sentient beings I clarified the truth to over the phone were also my relatives. I also realized that those I called who didn’t want to listen and hung up as soon as they answered the phone did so because I didn’t have enough compassion, and didn’t treat them as family. After I changed how I thought about the people I called, the effect of making phone calls was much better, and I felt more friendly when I spoke to them. As I continued to clarify the truth to people over the phone, they were willing to listen and hung up on me less often.
Master has made it clear how important it is for us to clarify the truth to people. I realized that in the process of doing so, as we face different types of people, we must be compassionate and have a calm and peaceful mindset, and we must control our tone and always be kind. This is very important. At the same time, we must not be anxious, but must specifically untie the knots in the hearts of those we call. Thus, we cannot be swayed by the superficial false appearances of ordinary people, and treat them all as our relatives.
On one call, a man answered the phone. As soon as we started talking, his wife started cursing. The cursing was very bad, and the man hung up the phone. I called again, and he answered again. After a few words, he hung up again. He hung up three times in a row. Then, he told me not to call again, meaning that it was not convenient for him to talk with his wife next to him. At this time, his wife grabbed the phone and cursed at me. I said, “Sister, don’t be angry. Being angry is not good for your health. I called for no other reason than to give you good news; I want you to be safe. Society is so chaotic now, so I can’t blame you for thinking too much about my call.” She gradually calmed down. I slowly clarified the truth to her, and she finally understood it. She told me that both she and her husband were Party members. So I offered to help them quit the CCP with the names Jiahe and Wanshixing. They both happily agreed and kept thanking me. There are many examples like this. Of course, this is only possible with Master’s assistance and the cooperation of fellow practitioners. I just said it and did what I should do.
Some people who answered the phone started cursing right away and would not listen to me at all. These people have been deeply poisoned by the lies of the CCP. When I first started making phone calls, I felt very uncomfortable when I encountered such people, and I couldn’t speak normally. At that time, I studied the Fa more.
Through studying the Fa, I realized from the bottom of my heart that they are all waiting to be saved. They were poisoned because they did not know the truth. They are the most pitiful people, yet they are people that Master wants to save. I am a Dafa practitioner, so I must strictly require myself according to the standards of the Fa. I cannot be influenced by the false appearance of what is on the surface of the person. I cannot be moved by what the person says. Now, when I encounter such people, as they talk, I send forth righteous thoughts for them in my heart to disintegrate the CCP influence behind them and let their knowing side talk to me. I then just happily tell them the truth about Dafa. At the same time, I also realized that our kindness and calm tone in our truth-clarification is truly like a fire extinguisher. I understand that our daily cultivation is also very important. We must pay attention to cultivating our thoughts, words, and deeds in our daily lives so that we can do better and better in our truth clarification.
One man started cursing as soon as he answered the phone. I said, “Brother, why are you so angry? I didn’t ask you to do anything bad. I told you a good way to avoid any disaster. There are so many disasters now. We can only ask for God’s protection. The CCP asks people to swear a life-long oath to it when joining its organizations. Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) tells you how to avoid disasters and stay safe. Brother, which one do you think is better?” He was stunned for a moment, and then his anger subsided. Finally, he understood the truth, renounced the CCP, and chose a bright future for himself.
I also encountered people who wouldn’t listen to me and just hung up after scolding me. I was not moved by that person’s superficial appearance, so I compassionately said what I could to such a person, allowing him to listen as much as he could. I thought: maybe he will listen to more truth-clarification the next time he answers the phone.
It was not accidental that I encountered such people. Every day after I made phone calls, I looked inward to find my human attachments, such as attachments to hearing praise, saving face, a competitive mentality, the desire for lust, and so on. If I truly found that I didn’t have any attachments that day, then I thought that I must have owed him/her from a previous life, and I just needed to repay the debt with a smile. Whenever I think of these things, the tears don’t stop flowing down. I am grateful for Master’s careful arrangements, compassion, and suffering.
On one call I talked to a man who listened to me when I clarified the truth to him. And he was familiar with the evil nature of the Communist Party. But after talking to him over and over again, he still didn’t say “yes” when I asked him to quit the CCP to be safe. Instead, he kept saying “thank you,” when I asked him to quit. I thought, perhaps he was afraid and worried. Because it was almost time to send righteous thoughts, I was anxious and said to him, “Brother, maybe I didn’t explain it clearly. I hope you receive another call in the future, and you must make the right choice for yourself. I hope you have a bright future.” He still said thank you, and I hung up the phone.
When I was sending forth righteous thoughts, Master showed me an image of a person wrapped in thick ice and snow. The ice outside had melted, but there was still a thin layer of frost inside. I immediately realized that compassionate Master was helping me to see that I was not kind enough when I clarified the truth to that person just now, and I was impatient and anxious. My tears immediately flowed, and I said, “Master, I was wrong. I was not compassionate enough and my righteous thoughts were not enough. I failed to disintegrate the evil factors behind him. Please give me another chance, Master.” But I wondered how I would get the chance to talk to that person again. Three days later, something miraculous happened. I got that person again on the phone. This time, when I talked to him again, he happily agreed to quit the evil Party organization and chose a bright future for himself. I was really happy for him.
Once again, I truly felt that it was Master who was doing everything and helping us at the same time. Master is always by our side, watching over us. As long as we do things from our heart and with righteous thoughts, everything Master arranges for us is the best.
On one call, I encountered a little girl. During the conversation, we got along very well. This child was also very kind. She understood the truth and happily withdrew from the evil CCP’s Young Pioneers. When the conversation was about to end, the little girl said, “Auntie, I have something to tell you. You can’t tell anyone else.” She said she wanted to jump off the building and commit suicide because her parents were divorced, and she was left alone at her sick grandfather’s house. She missed her mom and didn’t want to live anymore. I told her to be strong and live on, and wait for her mom to pick up. This child was very sensible. She gave me her mom’s phone number and asked me to help her mom quit the CCP to be safe. There have been many touching experiences like this.
People are truly waiting for us to save them. They also regard us as their relatives. I now consider making truth-clarification calls to China to save people as the most important part of my life. I can make these phone calls for five to eight hours every day, and I try to make as many calls as possible when I have time. In the process of making these truth-clarification calls, under Master’s compassionate protection, I also overcame family tribulations and illness karma. Disciples cannot express Master’s grace in words.
In future cultivation, I will study the Fa more and learn it well, cultivate myself well, save more people, and fulfill my prehistoric vow. Thank you, Master! Thank you, fellow practitioners!
