4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Wenyan’s Home Ransacked
5. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Zhenxiang’s Home Ransacked
6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Mei Under Surveillance for Some Time
7. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Liu Sizhu Released
8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhou Xiangbin and Ms. Zhang Chunzhi Harassed

1. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Yun Junfeng Sentenced

Mr. Yuan Junfeng was sentenced to a year in prison in 2024. He is now serving time in Gongzhuling Prison. This isn’t the first time that he has been sentenced. He previously served 15 years for practicing Falun Gong.

2. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Detang Detained

Mr. Zhang Detang was arrested by Xiaogang Police Station officers on January 14, 2025. He is being held in the Xiaogan City Detention Center.

3. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Han Jinhua Tried

Ms. Han Jinhua, a native of Chaigoubu Town, Huaian, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, was tried in the Lianhu District Court in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, on January 22, 2025.

4. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Wenyan’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Li Wenyan’s home was ransacked by three officers from the Hujiayuan Police Station on the evening of January 19, 2025. They seized her Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong.

5. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yan Zhenxiang’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Yan Zhenxiang’s home was broken into by over ten people from the residential committee and police station on January 18, 2025, just as she returned home. They searched for a while, but didn’t find anything related to Falun Gong.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Mei Under Surveillance for Some Time

Ms. Wu Mei from the Jiangxia District has been followed by people hired by the residential committee over the past few months. They took pictures of her without her consent.

7. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Liu Sizhu Released

Mr. Liu Sizhu from Longde County, Guyuan City, Ningxia, was released from Shizhuishan Prison on December 31, 2024.

8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhou Xiangbin and Ms. Zhang Chunzhi Harassed

Mr. Zhou Xiangbin and his wife Ms. Zhang Chunzhi were harassed at home by two officers from Binhai Town Police Station on the evening of January 17, 2025. They asked if Mr. Zhou still practiced Falun Gong and said they could remove his name from the government’s blacklist if he renounced it. Ms. Zhang refused to comply and the police left.
