(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 6 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shanghai] Ms. Yang Manyi Arrested
2. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Liping to Be Released After Serving One and a Half Years
3. [Beian City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Yali Searched in the Railway Station
4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Zhang Libo Arrested
5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Daxiu Arrested
6. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Hong Harassed

1. [Shanghai] Ms. Yang Manyi Arrested

Ms. Yang Manyi was arrested by officers in the Putuo District in early January 2025. Her arrest came shortly after she finished serving a one-year term for practicing Falun Gong.

2. [Haicheng City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Liping to Be Released After Serving One and a Half Years
Ms. Dong Liping was arrested on July 21, 2023, and later sentenced to one and a half years. She was admitted to Liaoning Province Second Women’s Prison in August 2024 and held in a Team of the Eighth Division. She was scheduled to be released on January 21, 2025.

3. [Beian City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu Yali Searched in the Railway Station

When Ms. Xu Yali was about to board a train at the Bei’an Railway Station on January 7, 2024, she was stopped by the police and had her luggage was searched.

4. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Zhang Libo Arrested

Zhang Libo from Harbin City was arrested in Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, at the end of 2024.

5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Daxiu Arrested

Ms. Liu Daxiu, 84, was arrested by officers from the Chengnan Police Staton on January 14, 2025, after she was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books and media player. She was detained in the Chengnan Police Station and released the next morning.

6. [Shanghai] Ms. Li Hong Harassed

Ms. Li Hong from the Caoyang District has been followed and photographed since January 13, 2025. The person who follows her was assigned by Cheng Xiaolong, director of the Caoyangxincun Subdivision Security Office.
