(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Several Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center
3. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi Face Trial
4. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Yuzhen’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yantao Officially Arrested
6. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Ying Taken to Detention Center
7. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tang Li and Mr. Zhao Haijun Arrested
8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yin Hongwei and His Daughter Ms. Yin Li Face Trial
9. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wei Caixia Detained

1. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sui Guanghua Tried

Ms. Sui Guanghua was tried on the morning of October 16, 2025. No verdict was announced. She was in poor health, and two detention center guards supported her as she was brought into the courtroom.

2. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Several Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Yan Aimei from Baiguo Town and Mr. Wang Shengli, an elementary school teacher from Songbu Town, were taken to a brainwashing center in September 2025, by the Macheng City Political and Legal Affairs Committee.

Ms. Cao Guirong from Tiemengang Township and Mr. Hao Qingan from Songbu Town were taken to a brainwashing center in the Xindongfang Hotel on October 11, 2025.

3. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi Face Trial

Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi are scheduled to be tried on November 12, 2025, by the Pingdu City Court.

4. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Yuzhen’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Xu Yuzhen was arrested on May 12, 2025. The Linyi City Domestic Security Division submitted her case to the Linyi City Procuratorate. The prosecutor returned the case, citing insufficient evidence. The police have submitted the case for the second time.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yantao Officially Arrested

Among four practitioners arrested on September 6, 2025, Mr. Guo Baoshi, Ms. Chen Xiu, and Ms. Zu Liming have been released and Mr. Liu Yantao was officially placed under arrest. Mr. Liu was beaten by police officers during his arrest.

6. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Ying Taken to Detention Center

Ms. Zhang Ying was arrested on October 14, 2025. She has been taken to the Jimo Second Detention Center.

7. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tang Li and Mr. Zhao Haijun Arrested

Ms. Tang Li, around 40, and Mr. Zhao Haijun, in his 50s, were arrested by officers from the Fujin City Political Security Division and Nangang Police Station on October 17, 2025.

Ms. Tang was arrested that morning while her two school-aged children were at home. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated numerous personal items. Mr. Zhao was arrested that evening. Both practitioners were interrogated.

Ms. Tang was released the next morning. Mr. Zhao was transferred to a detention facility.

8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yin Hongwei and His Daughter Ms. Yin Li Face Trial

Mr. Yin Hongwei and his daughter Ms. Yin Li were scheduled to appear in the Daowai District for the third time in the near future.

9. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wei Caixia Detained

Ms. Wei Caixia, in her 60s, was arrested by Hanzhong Road Police Station officers on October 1, 2025. She was taken to the Xixiang County Detention Center and was placed under administrative detention for 15 days. She was released on October 15.

Ms. Wei was harassed by the authorities on September 16, 2025. The officers also confiscated her personal belongings, including her computer, cell phone, and e-reader. Some of these items have since been returned.
