(Minghui.org) I was very fortunate to have been born into a family of Falun Dafa practitioners. I had a good cultivation environment when I was young. Perhaps because of my young age and lack of human notions, I especially liked to study Master’s articles and Zhuan Falun with fellow practitioners. As soon as Master’s articles were published, I would memorize them. I also liked to memorize the short articles in Essentials for Further Advancement and Hong Yin.
There was an amazing thing: because when I first learned the Fa, my family and I often studied the Fa together, when I was about eight years old, I unknowingly memorized Lunyu. My family took me to practice at an exercise site when I was a child. We got up at four o’clock in the morning, went out at half past four, walked for half an hour, and arrived there at five o’clock. An assistant once corrected a movement of holding the wheel for me, and his cultivation experiences had a great influence on me, inspired me, and helped me overcome many difficulties. This experience of learning the Fa and doing the morning exercises laid a very important foundation for my future cultivation.
As I grew older, I began to be playful and focused on getting good grades, and on top of that the pressure of the persecution gradually pushed me away from being a practitioner, but I still had a faint thought in my heart that I was a Dafa disciple. Maybe Master saw that I was about to fail in cultivation and arranged for me to go overseas.
After arriving abroad, I found fellow practitioners, and my childhood memories came flooding back. I knew that I had fallen behind a lot over the years, so I was determined to catch up and make up for the losses I had caused.
After returning to the practice, I began to do the three things to catch up with the journey I had left behind for so many years. I used my spare time to do more things to save people, and I ensured that I studied one lecture every day, and I read a lot of Master’s teachings and articles. During the process, I felt that the fastest improvement came from learning the Fa and saving people. Many of the improvements were obtained while saving people, which further validated the Fa and strengthened my belief in Dafa.
From 2009 to 2017, I participated in Shen Yun promotion for an average of about four months a year. Although there were hardships, I felt extremely lucky and special during the process.
One day in the winter of 2014, I was promoting Shen Yun in a shopping mall. Ticket sales were very slow. I was distressed that I had a lot of attachments. I felt that I was hindering Master from saving people and sentient beings from buying tickets and entering the venue to see Shen Yun and be saved, so I was not very active in selling tickets.
A thought suddenly hit my mind. All the Dafa disciples who obtained the Fa before 1999 were pushed to their original realms by Master. I understood that Master was telling me not to be obsessed with my own personal cultivation, but to save more people. I introduced Shen Yun to an older woman next to me, and she bought a ticket at the booth. Every morning and evening, I studied the Fa and did the exercises with the practitioners in the dormitory, and sold tickets during the day. Each practitioner in the dormitory worked together to save people, creating a good cultivation environment in which everyone could improve.
Since 2014, I have been going to a scenic spot about one day a week to clarify the truth and tell Chinese tourists why and how to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations. One day, I was the only practitioner in the square. There were four or five tour groups around, scattered in three different places, and each group had about 30 people. I wanted everyone in each group to be able to systematically listen to the recording, but there was no way. I was anxious and asked Master what I should do. I said to Master in my heart: “Please tell me where should I go first.” After that, Master gave me a hint. My consciousness was very clear. I first went to the restaurant, then to the duty-free shop, and then back to the place where the tour bus parked. I played almost the entire recording for each group.
Through this experience, I felt that in the process of saving people, all I needed to do was to constantly let go of everything about myself, and the wisdom and energy in the process were bestowed on me by Master.
One winter evening, it was raining lightly, but because there were tour groups from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, I stayed there for a day. In the evening when I was meditating and resting next to the booth, two words struck my mind: “Enlightened Being.” I felt that this was encouragement given to me by Master. It also made me firmly believe that people can really become enlightened through cultivation. I went there one day a week to clarify the truth. From 2017 to 2019, at least 30,000 tourists learned the facts through our site every Friday.
We helped Chinese tourists remove their misunderstandings of Dafa and aroused their kindness. I gained a lot from doing this at scenic spots for those two and a half years.
Through opportunities such as making calls and talking to people at exhibitions, at least 100 Chinese people have quit the CCP with my help. I know that this number is very low. These results were achieved through the joint cooperation of all fellow practitioners. The evil Party is about to disintegrate, and we must seize the little time left to save more people.
Looking back on my cultivation journey over the years, I haven't done much, but Master has given me a lot. I hope that I can be more diligent, get rid of long-standing human notions, save more people, and fulfill my vows.
