(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi Tried

Ms. Zhang Yuemei and Ms. Yu Hongzhi were tried in the Pingdu City Court on November 12, 2025. The trial started at 9:30 a.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m. The judge announced that a second hearing would be scheduled at a later date.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shuhua Faces Trial

Ms. Wang Shuhua was scheduled to stand trial in the Dadong District Court on November 19, 2025.

Ms. Wang was arrested on August 23, 2025. The Dadong District Procuratorate issued a formal arrest warrant for her on September 1 and indicted her on September 24.

3. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Liang Yuhua Detained

Ms. Liang Yuhua was arrested at home on November 2, 2025. Her place was ransacked. She is being held in the Yinchuan City Detention Center.

4. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Chen Zhongli Formally Arrested

Ms. Chen Zhongli was arrested at the entrance of her residential community by Gucheng Police Station officers on the afternoon of September 5, 2025. The police first took her to the station for questioning and then back to her home. They tried to force her to open her door, but she refused to comply. They eventually broke in with the help of a locksmith. They confiscated over 100 Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a Falun image, wall decorations with “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” on them, portable players with Falun Gong exercise music, and paper currency bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

Ms. Chen was taken to the Pingcheng Police Department for further interrogation. They ordered her to sign confiscation list, but she would not. She was admitted to the Chenzhuang Detention Center at night. The Pingcheng District Procuratorate issued a formal arrest warrant for her on September 23, 2025.

5. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Zhaohong Sentenced

Mr. Liu Zhaohong was arrested on May 19, 2025, for mailing letters with Falun Gong information. He was held in the Jiaoxi Detention Center for five months. He was sentenced to four years in prison in October 2025 and is serving time in the Shandong Province Prison in the capital of Jinan.

6. [Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Jianhui Released

Ms. Wang Jianhui, around 60, of Anlong Town was arrested on November 2, 2025, for giving out Falun Gong calendars in Liujie Town. She has been released.

7. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Yang Zonglin Incarcerated

Mr. Yang Zonglin was sentenced to a year in prison by the Kongtong District Court on July 21, 2025. He was admitted to prison on November 3. He is extremely weak due to the abuse in custody.

8. [Shenyang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Yumei Harassed

Ms. Guo Yumei was harassed at home by the Tiexi District police on August 16, 2025. The officers videotaped her against her will.

9. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Song Xingwei Detained

Mr. Song Xingwei was arrested on October 28, 2025. He was released on November 12.

10. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Lin Jie Sentenced to Prison and Her Social Security Is Partially Suspended

Ms. Lin Jie was arrested at an unknown time after being reported by a student’s parents for talking to that student about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked by Songshan District Domestic Security Division officers. She was later sentenced to six months in prison by the Songshan District Court and allowed to serve time outside of prison. The Chifeng City Social Security Bureau recently suspended 40% of her social insurance payment.

11. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xie Chengyu to Be Released from Prison

Ms. Xie Chengyu is scheduled to be released from the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on November 21, 2025.

12. [Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhang Lihua Faces Trial

Ms. Zhang Lihua was arrested at home on January 7, 2025, by around 20 officers from Zhaoyuan Farm. Accusing her of distributing Falun Gong flyers, they ransacked her home, seizing her notebook computer, Falun Gong books, and other items. She was denied admission by the detention center due to her poor health and was released the next day.

In early July 2025, the police ordered her to sign additional case documents, which she refused to do. They submitted her case to the Suihua City Procuratorate. They took her for another physical exam ten days later, but she was still unfit for detention.

She was indicted in early November and refused to sign any documents.

13. [Yongning County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Jiang Tao and Ms. Zhu Haiyan Released

Mr. Jiang Tao and Ms. Zhu Haiyan have been released from the Yinchuan City Lockup.
