(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Xiao Lidan Arrested

Xiao Lidan, gender unknown, was arrested on the morning of October 29, 2025, by Lianhua Police Station officers.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Tian, first name unknown, was arrested in front of her condo building on the morning of October 26, 2025, when she was taking her child to school. Three other practitioners were arrested at the same time.

3. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ji Lina Arrested

Ms. Ji Lina was arrested by Xingdong Police Station officers on the morning of October 30, 2025, after she was reported for giving out Falun Gong calendars.

4. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Fengxia Faces Indictment

Ms. Chen Fengxia was arrested on a bus on September 11, 2025. Her family received her arrest warrant on September 25. Her attorney confirmed on October 27 that her case had been transferred from the Chengde County Procuratorate to the Shuangqiao District Procuratorate.

5. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Yan’s Appeal Denied

Ms. Chen Yan was arrested on the evening of July 14, 2024. She was tortured while being been held in the Benxi City Detention Center.

Ms. Chen was tried by the Xihu District Court in the detention center on May 15, 2025, and was sentenced to five years with a 5,000-yuan fine on June 26. She appealed with the Benxi City Intermediate Court, while ruled to uphold her original verdict on September 19.

6. [Songzi City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fu Zhen Detained

After Ms. Fu Zhen, a retired teacher, talked to a college student at a shopping mall about her experiences practicing Falun Gong on October 3, 2025, she was reported to the police. Shuilu Police Station officers arrested her and admitted her to a detention center the next day. She was released 15 days later, on October 19.

7. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Yan Detained

Ms. Sun Yan was arrested by Jinshan Police Station officers for posting Falun Gong flyers. Her home was ransacked. She has been detained for over 10 days, first at Dandong Lockup and then Dandong Detention Center.

8. [Gaotang County, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Binling Arrested

Mr. Li Binling was arrested on October 29, 2025. His home was ransacked.

9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Qiu Liying’s Pension Suspended Since December 2021

Ms. Qiu Liying, 60, applied for retirement benefits in February 2020. But starting in December 2021, the Shijiazhuang City Social Security Center suspended her pension, with the excuse that she served prison terms for practicing Falun Gong. In addition, she was ordered to return 64328.64 yuan she received between February 2020 and December 2021.

Ms. Qiu sued the Shijiazhuang City Social Security Center for unlawfully suspending her pension but lost the case. She appealed all the way to the Hebei Provincial High Court, still to no avail.

In mid-July 2025, the Chang’an District Court sent Ms. Qiu another notice to return the 64328.64 yuan pension she had received. She submitted a rebuttal, and judge Peng Haozhan has been assigned to the case.

10. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Huang Jinyi and Ms. Zhang Chunfang Harassed

Mr. Huang Jinyi, 88, and his wife Ms. Zhang Chunfang, 87, were harassed at home by two officers from Liyuan Police Station recently. The officers tricked them into signing a piece of blank paper and took pictures of them.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] She Xingrong Detained

She Xingrong, gender unknown, was arrested at home around 8 p.m. on August 25, 2025, by about ten people from the Xiaojiahe Police Station and the residential committee. They ransacked the place and seized Falun Gong books and other items. She was detained for seven days and has been released.
