(Minghui.org) I practice Falun Dafa and I live in a Muslim community. As practitioners we know that Dafa manifests in our lives in many ways. I’d like to share some examples.
I noticed that when I talked badly about another practitioner, when I argued with someone, or when I complained to other practitioners, expressing my bitterness or venting my anger, for the rest of the day, and sometimes the following day, there was a painful lump in my throat that felt like a big, painful ball. After this happened two or three times, I enlightened to the fact that this was directly linked to my behavior and was a hint from Master reminding me to correct my xinxing.
I also noticed that when I had negative thoughts about fellow practitioners, I would drop something while doiong household chores or an item would break or I would stumble. One time I was badly injured opening a can. I realized this manifestation was like a stick warning from Master—a reminder that I should watch my thoughts and stop having bad ideas about fellow practitioners.
I met with my boss at work. I was having a conflict with him because I found out he was not being honest and he’d lied to me several times, so I no longer trusted him. He started with: “You know, the problem between us is ‘trust.’” That very moment, a coat rack behind him snapped and would have fallen if both of us hadn’t quickly grabbed it. I found it strange that the coat rack cracked exactly at that moment, as if it reflected the fact that something was indeed broken between us.
At one point, I had improper thoughts about a married fellow practitioner. I didn’t tell him or anyone else about it, but I was completely overwhelmed with feelings of love and sentimentality. My qing was very strong. An animal at home suddenly became ill and smelled bad. I thought it was just an infection, but when I looked closely, I found a worm, then two, then several worms. The next day there were many, and on the third day they were moving around and eating so quickly that they ate some of his skin, and I could see through the innermost layer of skin that covered the internal organs.
When I rushed him to the veterinarian, the taxi driver couldn’t stand the smell and opened all the windows. The vet told me that those worms were extremely dangerous and that after eating the skin they start eating the animal’s internal organs. When this happens the animal is doomed. We were able to save the animal and it recovered, but it was very stressful.
I later understood that what happened mirrored my incorrect feelings in regard to my fellow practitioner and that what manifests here as feelings of love may manifest in other dimensions as worms, rotten ugly things, and a putrefying smell! It was a profound lesson for me.
Dafa also manifests in our lives through the innumerable blessings it brings, not only to ourselves but also the people around us.
Soon after I began practicing, I started working on an important project, and I was in a very good cultivation state. I’d recently moved to a new neighborhood where three married women had longed to have children and had tried many things, but all in vain. Within three years, all three of them gave birth. I believe this wasn’t accidental, but a manifestation of Dafa’s blessings.
I’m a teacher, and I’ve taught at several different schools. I’ve noticed that each high school I am moved to starts to improve until the students’ tests scores rank the best or among the best in the region. One day when I was in the supermarket, I ran into the principal of the high school I graduated from. When I told him the year I graduated, he said, “That date is memorable. That year, our high school ranked first on a national scale in graduation results. It was the only time.”
I didn’t immediately grasp the significance of these things, but as I thought about it, I realized they were not accidental—they were linked to the blessings of Dafa, and they show that a Dafa practitioner is a special being who might have a considerable influence on his or her environment. The power of the Fa can manifest through him if he is righteous, and he can have a negative impact if he is not.
At one point, we established a diligent Fa study group, and our field was really harmonious. A plant in my garden flowered for the first time, its big, beautiful red flowers opened, one after another. And the most amazing thing was that there were exactly the same number of flowers as practitioners in our group! Another plant blossomed with small, beautiful white flowers. After some time, our study group broke up and scattered. Neither plant bloomed after that.
Just as I was about to start working in a project that I really cherished, I heard a loud bang, and the light bulb in the ceiling exploded, the power went, and the electric meter shut down. This was extremely rare in my house. It was as if, when I decided to work on this project, something happened in another dimension. I thing that, in this dimension, it manifested as a strong electrical discharge in the room and that’s why the light bulb exploded.
I recorded these few examples to remind myself and fellow practitioners how wonderful Dafa is. My level and elightenment quality are low. I guess that is why I enlighten to things only after seeing them displayed before my eyes. I believe that the Fa is present in every second of our lives, protecting us and compassionately guiding us. It’s up to us to enlighten to it and to grow wiser to be able to recognize the Fa’s subtle manifestations and hints.
