(Minghui.org) U.S. Senator John Cornyn from Texas, wrote to the Southern USA Falun Dafa Association on November 28, 2025, to congratulate the artists on the 20th anniversary of the founding of Shen Yun Performing Arts. He also thanked the artists for their dedication and excellence.

Senator John Cornyn wrote:

“I recently learned that Shen Yun Performing Arts is celebrating its twentieth anniversary and the beginning of its world tour. Including multiple performances in Texas. Congratulations on this significant milestone.

“This is an accomplishment for which you and your entire organization can be proud. Celebrating this anniversary shows your dedication to preserving and sharing classical Chinese dance, music, and tradition.

“I encourage you to continue pursuing excellence in the years to come.”

In 2025, more than 10 Texas cities issued proclamations for Shen Yun or announced Shen Yun Day in their city. After the 2026 tour season begins in Houston on December 26, 2025, Shen Yun will perform in numerous Texas cities including Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, McAllen, Lubbock, Victoria, and Midland.
