(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners were invited and organized an information day on November 25, 2025, at the Civic Center at 20 Reymonta Street in Krakow, where a non-governmental organization (NGO) festival was held. The practitioners also showed a video presentation entitled “What is Falun Gong?”
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) is a traditional meditation and self-cultivation practice. It is based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. It combines gentle exercises and meditation. Through regular practice, people can improve their health, reduce stress, gain energy, achieve inner peace, and raise their moral standards. In 1992, Mr. Li Hongzhi introduced Falun Dafa to the public in China. Falun Dafa is now practiced in over 100 countries around the world. Falun Dafa books have been translated into 50 languages.

According to the event organizers, the event at the Civic Center is held to bring together “residents, representatives of non-governmental organizations, public institutions, and local government every year.” The event is meant to demonstrate the power of civic action in the city of Krakow and show the diversity of projects initiated by local communities.
The Krakow social fair was held under the patronage of Artur Buszek, the Mayor of Krakow’s Representative for Non-Governmental Organizations, and practitioners from the Polish Falun Dafa Association were invited.
Falun Dafa practitioners got to speak with Buszek at the event. It was his first encounter with Falun Dafa. He learned about the principles on which Falun Dafa is based: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and said that “people need this now,” and he added, “to stop and feel peace.”
“We are all busy these days and that this is what we need,” he said.
After talking with a practitioner, Buszek proposed a meeting to discuss how he could give residents access to Falun Dafa, which would help them calm down. Mr. Artur said that in order to better understand what Falun Dafa is about, he would also like to learn more about this practice. He also said that he wanted to learn the exercises. He accepted a lotus flower as a gift.

Practitioners also told those interested in the event about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, including state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting which targets illegally imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners.
Falun Dafa practitioners talked to Michał from the Perun Foundation about how Falun Dafa practice has common values that help people be themselves (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance). Michał meets with children from various schools and spoke about the importance of awakening awareness using disciplines like Falun Dafa. To him, these disciplines provide a way for people to connect with their true self.
“Every child knows what they want deep down in their heart, but over time, certain barriers arise due to upbringing, environment, and education, which can destroy their natural state,” said Michal.
He also said that Falun Dafa could be beneficial for children, so that they can act in accordance with their own nature. He took some materials about Falun Dafa so that he could tell others about Falun Dafa and present opportunities to learn about it in schools.
