(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 17 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Wang Lina, Ms. Lei Min, Ms. Wang Xiuli, and Ms. Gao Hongwei were arrested by plainclothes officers on November 7, 2025, while distributing desk calendars with information about Falun Gong.
Ms. Liu Yan was arrested on November 8, 2025. While she was released the same day, the police ordered her to go to the police station on November 17 for 15 days of detention. She did not go. Several officers came to her home to harass her on November 18. She did not open the door.
Ms. Li Muzhen was harassed at home on November 17, 2025, by Ouyang Zhancun from the Ciyutuo Town Police Station, and other officers from the Luannan County Domestic Security Division. They ordered her to sign paperwork, which she refused.
Ms. Xiao Lidan was arrested on November 3, 2025, by officers from the Futian District Police Department, Political and Legal Affairs Committee, her local police station, and the neighborhood committee. Her current situation is unknown.
Ms. Cui Jian and Ms. Ding Min were reported to the police in Taoyuan Market on October 29, 2025. They were arrested by officers from the Zhongshan District Domestic Security Division and Taoyuan Police Station who were staking out the market. The two practitioners’ homes were ransacked. Ms. Ding was released that evening. Ms. Cui was released after 15 days in the Jinjiajie Lockup.
Ms. Jiang Wenping was harassed on November 3, 2025, when she was cleaning her storefront. Luo Jiantao, head of the neighborhood security committee, and two others, took photos of her.
At least six practitioners were harassed on November 15, 2025. Ms. Li, Huang Simei, Zhan Xianhua, Mr. Wang, and his wife refused to open the door for the police. In the afternoon, officers from Qingquan Police Station and staff members from the Shiyue Community came to Keqiong’s (last name unknown) home, and ordered her to open the gate. She refused to comply. One officer attempted, unsuccessfully, to scale the fence to break in. They finally left after over two hours of standoff.
Mr. Hu Jiancai was arrested on November 2, 2025, and taken to the Yinchuan City Detention Center. He was released on November 10.
