(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Chongqing] Ms. Lin Zhongying Abused in Prison

Ms. Lin Zhongying was sentenced to two years and three months in prison and was admitted to the Chongqing Women’s Prison in November 2025. Because she refuses to renounce Falun Gong, the guards tortured her and didn’t allow her family to visit her or deposit cash into her commissary account.

2. [Lezhi County, Sichuan Province] Eight Practitioners Sentenced

Eight of the nine elderly practitioners arrested in March 2023 have been sentenced to prison by the Lezhi County Court. Ms. Huo Zhizhen, around 70, was sentenced to three years. The other seven practitioners, who are all older than her, were each given one year's probation.

Ms. Jiang Niang, who was arrested with the other eight practitioners, was released shortly after her arrest and didn’t face prosecution.

3. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liang Jianguo Arrested

Mr. Liang Jianguo was arrested on the evening of November 6, 2025, by agents and officers from Datonghu 610 Office, Domestic Security Division, and local police, while he was distributing Falun Gong flyers.

4. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Chengyun Sentenced

Ms. Yang Chengyun, 75, talked to passersby about the persecution of Falun Gong in June 2025. Zhou Xiangdong, captain of Xiling District Domestic Security Division, arranged officers to follow and arrest her. Her case was submitted to the Gezhouba Procuratorate several months later. The Gezhouba Court held a hearing of her case on November 19, 2025, and sentenced her to eight months with a 1,000-yuan fine.

5. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Guo Ronghuang’s Home Ransacked

The home of Guo Rongguang, 85, gender unknown, was ransacked by six officers from Luocheng Police Station in mid-October 2025. They seized Falun Gong printouts and paper currencies worth 30 yuan with Falun Gong messages printed on them. Four officers went to Guo’s home the next day and ordered Guo to sign the list of confiscated items.

On the morning of November 20, more than ten clerks from Datong Residential District and Weilanjun Residential District went to Guo’s home. They seized four Falun Gong books, a pendant and a desk calendar with Falun Gong information.

6. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Hou Liyue Arrested

Ms. Hou Liyue was arrested on her way to grocery shopping on the morning of November 5, 2025, by four plainclothes officers from Gaoxin District Domestic Security Division staking out her condo building. She was taken to Shahekou District Case Center, where she had a heart attack and was sent to the hospital. Her family took her home from there. The police deposed Ms. Hou at her home around November 7.
