(Minghui.org) Mandurah, a city in Western Australia held its annual grand Christmas Parade on the evening of November 28, 2025. Falun Dafa practitioners’ entry in the parade was highly anticipated and one person exclaimed, “You are the best!” On December 2, Amber Kearns, Mayor of Mandurah City sent a letter to the Falun Dafa Association to thank practitioners for participating in the parade.

This year, various community groups, clubs, bands, dance groups as well as over 30 floats were featured in the popular annual event.

Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the Mandurah Christmas parade on November 28, 2025.

The Falun Dafa contingent included fairy maidens, Chinese waist drums and dragon dance performances. Many people along the parade route cheered, clapped, praised them and took video recordings of practitioners’ performance. Some even danced along with the music and drum beats. People were full of praise for the bright colors and practitioners’ peaceful energy. Many people thanked practitioners for participating.

You Showed How a Free Spirit Can Be

James, his wife Monique and daughter Kate saw the parade. Monique told practitioners, “Your presentation was beautiful, full of love and I support your cause.”

The couple said they knew about the persecution in China. James said, “I don't like how you (Falun Dafa) are being controlled by the CCP. It’s terrible. There is so much going on in China right now. You are being controlled by your upper-level government, the Communists. There is so much going on behind the scenes, there’s harvesting of organs, there’s all sorts of stuff.”

James said he has signed the petition to support ending the persecution. He is also aware of the lies the CCP spreads through the media.

When asked his thoughts on practitioners’ attendance in the parade this year, James said, “You showed how happy practitioners are. You showed how a free spirit can be, how you can enjoy life, how it is meant to be. You don’t need to be controlled by that Communist rule!”

You Were One of the Best

Carly gave a big thumbs when she saw practitioners’ performance in the parade.

Carly said, “You were one of the best!”

Hayley (left) could not stop complimenting practitioners’ performance in the parade.

Hayley kept praising practitioners’ performance in the parade. She said, “Happiness, wonderful, all of these good things and even more good things!”

Parade volunteer Teresa Chyzae praised practitioners and said they always smiled.

Teresa Chyzae who helped during the parade said about practitioners’ performance: “Amazing, Wonderful, everybody was smiling, it was great.”

Jane is a teacher and agreed with Falun Dafa’s principles – Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance and said, “Definitely the world needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance.” She said practitioners’ demeanor in the parade was “happy and bright.”

Sammy said, “You were all very happy, colorful, and impressive.” She particularly mentioned the dragon performance and thought it was amazing.
