(Minghui.org) My mother is 80 years old, and is very supportive of Falun Dafa. She reads Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa, and practices the five exercises with me every day. She has great respect for Master Li, the founder of the practice, and over time, her health has gradually improved.

I had always encouraged her to read the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party (commonly referred to as the Nine Commentaries), but she was resistant, and would say, “I’ll just read Master’s books. I don’t want to read anything else.”

One day, I connected with a fellow practitioner through the Internet. When she found out that we couldn’t access Minghui.org, she traveled thousands of miles to visit us. She helped us install apps that enabled us to browse Minghui.org on tablets and smartphones. From then on, my mother and I could read other practitioners’ sharing articles, which really helped us improve in our cultivation.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of the Nine Commentaries. A commentator on New Tang Dynasty praised the book, saying it was extraordinary, and that no experts or scholars had ever dissected the Communist Party so thoroughly. The Chinese Communist Party, notably, has never officially responded to the book over the past 20 years. My mother’s curiosity was piqued. “What kind of book receives such high praise?” she wondered. “I’ll take a look at it.”

She finished reading the Nine Commentaries in just three days. She told me, “This book is all about facts. There’s no exaggeration at all—it aligns perfectly with my personal experiences.”

Three nights after finishing the book, my mother saw a ghostly figure in a black robe darting around the house. At first, she thought her vision was blurry. She rubbed her eyes and focused on the shadow—it was clear and unmistakable. She immediately closed her eyes, sent forth righteous thoughts, and asked Master to eliminate the evil spirit. After a while, she saw the black shadow flee through the window.

Following this incident, my mother’s hearing noticeably improved. I used to have to shout for her to hear me, but she can now catch my words even when I whisper.

This experience gave both my mother and me renewed confidence and a deeper understanding that the evil communist specter truly exists. We realized that the only way to eliminate it is by fully exposing and recognizing its nature. Reading the Nine Commentaries is one of the most effective ways to disintegrate this specter.
