1. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhu Chaobing Taken Back into Custody to Serve a One-Year Term

Ms. Zhu Chaobing, also known as Chao Bing, of Nanquan Town was sentenced to a year in prison in late August 2024 by the Shifang City Court for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. While she was initially allowed to serve time outside of prison, Shifang City Court personnel seized her at home on January 17, 2025, likely to take her back into custody to serve time. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

2. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Yan’e Arrested

Ms. Hao Yan’e, in her 60s, was arrested by Dong’anzhuang Township Police Station officers on the afternoon of February 10, 2025. The officers came in two police cars, saying someone reported her for distributing Falun Gong flyers. They ransacked her home and seized two New Year decoration paintings, three desk calendars, and a portable media player. She was taken to the police station for questioning and released after 4 p.m.

3. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Shuqin and Ms. Meng Shuyan Arrested

Ms. Meng Shuyan was arrested at home by officers from Xinbin County Domestic Security Division and township police station on the morning of February 11, 2025. They ransacked her place, seized her Falun Gong books, and other related items. She was released shortly after.

Ms. Zhao Shuqin was arrested at home by the same officers that afternoon. They ransacked her place and seized her Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, a computer, a printer, and other items. She was taken to the police station and released later.

4. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Hanxiang’s Home Raided

When Ms. Liu Hanxiang of Shijia Village, Zhuqiao Town talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in the Miaojia Street Market on the morning of February 11, 2025, she was reported. Zhuqiao Police Station officers raided her home before she returned and confiscated her Falun Gong books and printouts.

5. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Yanling and Ms. Zhao Yuxiang Detained

Ms. Liu Yanling, 55, of Anping Town, Xianghe County, distributed Falun Gong flyers in January 2024 and was reported. Huoxian Police Station officers in the Tongzhou District of Beijing located her by tracking her car license plate. She was taken to the Chaoyang District Lockup in Beijing for a ten-day administrative detention. She was released on January 26, 2024.

Ms. Zhao Yuxiang, 68, of Anping Town, Xianghe County, has been held in the Taihu Lockup in the Tongzhou District in Beijing since January 21, 2025. Her elderly mother, who relied on her for care, is now in a dire situation.
