1. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Huiqiang Tried

Senior engineer Mr. Zhang Huiqiang was prosecuted by the Dadong District Procuratorate at Dadong District Court on February 23, 2025. The court held the trial in Dadong Detention Center at 9 a.m. on March 6.

2. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Practitioner Xu Huanping Arrested

Practitioner Xu Huanping, gender unknown, was reported to the police while talking to people about Falun Gong on March 5, 2025. Xu was arrested by officers from the Chongwen Police Station.

3. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Qin Zhengxiu Harassed

Zhou Daihua, the team leader of Jingu Village, Xiwai Township, citing the “two sessions” of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) to be held in Beijing in March as an excuse, went to harass Ms. Qin Zhengxiu at her home on February 28, 2025. Zhou told Ms. Qin not to go to Beijing.

4. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhou Ling and Mr. Chen Jie Harassed

During the two sessions of the NPC and CPPCC and other politically sensitive days, the Hudong Police Station in Pudong New Area and sub-district officials would send people to monitor and harass Ms. Zhou Ling and Mr. Chen Jie. This has put a lot of pressure on them and disrupted their lives.

5. [Xinbin Country, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cui Xia Detained

Ms. Cui Xia was arrested on February 7, 2025. She was detained for 15 days and returned home on February 22.

6. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Xia Fei Held in Prison

Ms. Xia Fei, a teacher at Hengyang College of Environmental Biology, was arrested on August 28, 2023, when taking a bus to go home by Dai Guoqing from Xupu County Domestic Security Division and other people. She was taken to a police station and held there for one night.

The next day she was taken to Huaihua City Detention Center and held for one day. On the third day she was taken to Haikou City by the Hainan Province police. She was held in Haikou City No. 2 Detention Center in Hainan Province.

On January 30, 2024, Ms. Xia was sentenced to one year and six months in prison and fined 2,000 yuan by Guangzhou Railway Transportation Court. Ms. Xia Fei was taken to Qiongshan Prison in Hainan Province in June 2024.
