Why the Chinese Communist Party Opposes the United States

April 20, 2025 |   By Yiyan

(Minghui.org) For years the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) presented itself as a member of the global village. Many countries no longer saw China as a scourge but a normal country. However, China is not a normal member of the global village, and the term “global village” is not as innocent as it appears.

To put it simply, the CCP doesn’t want to be a member of the global village; it wants to take over the world. In the communist anthem, the Internationale, the “Internationale unites the world.” Since the CCP upholds Marxism-Leninism, and is a manifestation of communism, its ultimate goal is to take over the world in the name of globalization (Internationale.)

Communists advocate sharing property, which to them, means having others share their property. The real goal of globalization is: what’s yours is mine, but what’s mine is mine. If a person refuses to let communists “share” their property, communists label them “enemies.” One can imagine what would happen to the private property of landowners if a resentful, poor farmer becomes the head of a village and advocates “sharing property.”

Some may ask what’s wrong with globalization. This subject can be examined from two perspectives.

1. Globalization implies that what’s yours is mine

After World War II, the U.S. supported many countries in their economic development. As a result, the economies boomed in Asian countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and many European countries. With the United States’ help, China became a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and was designated as a developing country so that it enjoyed, and still enjoys, special trade treatment. Because of this, the Chinese economy grew exponentially. China later claimed that it surpassed the U.S. and became the world’s largest economy with a global influence as powerful as the United States’.

Money is the touchstone of humanity. There’s an old Chinese saying, “Save those in emergencies but not those in poverty.” That is, it’s a manifestation of kindness to help people who are impacted by accidents or disasters. However, giving ongoing support to poor people for no reason brings out their lazy and selfish nature. And even worse, in a time of degenerating values, people often demand more from those who help them instead of being grateful.

World War II ended 80 years ago, but many countries in Asia and Europe continue to receive military and financial aid from the U.S. How many of them have mocked the U.S. instead of showing gratitude? The Trump administration wants to save the U.S. from its overwhelming debt and has declined to continue being the world’s ATM. He proposed reciprocal tariffs and prioritized America’s economy. Did the rest of the world respond kindly and say that these policies are fair?

2. Globalization distorts common sense

When I was a child, the adults often referred to the U.S. as the “world police” in a derogatory tone. This put the idea into my head that the U.S. liked to meddle in others’ business. What I wasn’t told was that the U.S. acted that way because it offered other countries financial and military support after the war ended. My misconception was caused by misinformation.

People are likely to misjudge a situation when they are misinformed, and the CCP knows that well. That’s why it blocks and censors information so that it can brainwash people with communist ideology and create generation after generation of CCP enthusiasts.

These enthusiasts may immigrate or travel to other countries with the CCP’s ideology ingrained in their minds, and they spread communist values. Many people who grew up outside of China also worship Marxism and are biased. The infiltration of communist values harms the traditional values of the free world, and ruins a country’s economy, like it did in Venezuela.

Only when people’s perception is no longer influenced by communist ideology will they be able to see things justly and factually. Phrases such as “world police” and “reciprocal tariffs” would no longer carry negative connotations. The speech given by Japanese PM Ishiba Shigeru to the Diet in support of the U.S.’s restoration of the world economic order will be considered common sense and morally correct.

Now let’s get back to why the CCP inherently opposes the United States.

First, the CCP’s values are hatred, malice, and struggle, which are inherently anti-humanity and anti-American values. Second, whoever gets between the CCP and its goal to take over the world becomes its worst enemy. As a result, the CCP is hardwired to oppose the United States. It doesn’t matter what the U.S. says or does, the CCP has never stopped hating the U.S. Even though the U.S. has helped its economic growth for decades, the CCP has indoctrinated generations of Chinese people to hate America; it kicked America out of the global production chain; and it has steadily infiltrated every level of the United States with communist ideology in its attempt to destroy it.

Globalization IS communism. Globalization is not about everyone helping others while taking care of themselves—it’s about enriching oneself by making others miserable. When everyone sees the true nature of the CCP, I wonder how many countries will be willing to let it take over.

More than 450 million Chinese people have made a public statement by quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. They know that the CCP is bound to be erased from the Earth, so distancing oneself from the CCP guarantees a person’s or a country’s future.
