(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners, including Ms. Han Yanjie and her sister Ms. Han Yanwen, of Lvyang Town, Beizhen City, Zhang Man of Sanjiazi Village, and a female practitioner of Xiaxiao Village, were arrested at their homes and taken to Beizhen City Police Department on the morning of June 3, 2025. Officers from Luyang Town Police Station, Beizhen City Police Department, and Jinzhou City took part in the arrests. The officers were given a list of practitioners beforehand.

Prior to the arrests, police in Beizhen installed cameras facing some practitioners’ homes and at the Lvyang Town Farmers Market, where the practitioners went frequently to raise awareness about the persecution.

2. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several practitioners were arrested at about 5 p.m. on June 2, 2025. Those known to have been arrested include Ms. Liang Jinjun, Min, and Fu.

At the end of April 2025, Ms. Liang, Fu and other practitioners found tracking devices on their electric bikes and cars, which were installed by the police without their knowledge. In late May 2025, plainclothes officers staked out Ms. Liang’s home and followed her.

3. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Chunli Arrested

Ms. Yang Chunli was followed by police officers outside a bank in Yanji City, about 30 miles from Tumen, on the afternoon of May 29, 2025. She was arrested by the Yanji police at her sister’s home that night.

4. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Shiguang and His Wife Ms. Tang Qingjuan Arrested

Mr. Wang Shiguang and his wife Ms. Tang Qingjuan, around 60, live in Tong’erpu Town, Dengta City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang City. They were arrested by officers from Dengta City Police Department on the morning of June 3, 2025. The couple are being held in Dengta City Detention Center and Liaoyang City Detention Center, respectively.

5. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Xu Yue Arrested

Practitioner Xu Yue, from Heishan County, was about to leave home at 8 a.m. on June 3, 2025, when five officers from Heishan County Police Department, who had been waiting outside her apartment, broke in. They searched the place and arrested her. Her laptop and cell phone were confiscated. Xu’s whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Wangxiang Arrested

Ms. Hu Wangxiang, 74, from Xingou Town, Dongxihu District, was arrested at home by the police at around 8:00 a.m. on May 28, 2025. The police handcuffed her and took her away. Her whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Guiling Transferred to Jinzhou Prison

Ms. Wang Guiling was sentenced to five years on December 30, 2024. He was transferred from the Panjin Prison to Jinzhou Prison on May 23, 2025.

8. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Zuo Xiuyun’s Case Returned to the Procuratorate

Ms. Zuo Xiuyun was arrested on May 21, 2024. She appeared in the Minqing Court on December 13, 2024. The court held a second hearing of her case at an unknown date and has returned her case to the Minqing County Procuratorate, citing insufficient evidence. She is still held at the Fuzhou City Second Detention Center now.

9. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhu Yuling Faces Indictment; Ms. Wang Liuzhen Detained

Ms. Zhu Yuling was arrested on April 11, 2024 and released on a one-year bail shortly after. The police extended her bail condition in April 2025. She is now facing prosecution after the police had submitted her case to the Procuratorate.

Ms. Wang Liuzhen was arrested at work and had her bag searched on May 12, 2025. The police claimed that she was recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong materials. The police raided her home and interrogated her in the evening. She was detained for 10 days and then released.

10. [Chongqing] Ms. Lin Zhongying Faces Trial

Ms. Lin Zhongying was scheduled to appear in the Jiangbei District Court on June 6, 2025.

11. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jinli and Mr. Qu Pengcheng’s Daughter Arrested

Mr. Qu Pengcheng was sentenced to eight years on December 3, 2024. He appealed with the Liaoyang City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold his original verdict on May 19, 2025. In early June 2025, Ms. Wang Jinli accompanied Mr. Qu’s daughter to the Liaoyang City Intermediate Court to submit Mr. Qu’s motion to reconsider the case. On their way back, the police stopped their car and impounded it after finding Falun Gong materials in it. Ms. Wang and Mr. Qu’s daughter are still detained at the time of writing. The car hasn’t been returned either.

12. [Xiaogan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Huang Xingying Detained

Ms. Huang Xingying from Hanchuan City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Xiaogan City, was arrested by officers from Hanchuan City Domestic Security Division on May 19, 2025. She was taken to the Jiyuqiao Police Station in Wuchang District on the same day and interrogated. She was held in Wuhan City First Lockup for 13 days of administrative detention and released on June 2.
