Aug. 11, 2025 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Germany

(Minghui.org) “I hope you succeed,” “It is very important that you can persevere and tell everyone about the persecution.” These were some of comments Falun Gong practitioners heard during an event at Bismarck Platz in front of the Lindau City Hall on August 2, 2025.

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, distributed fliers, and spoke with residents and tourists. They explained what Falun Gong is, why the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes it, and how the regime targets practitioners for organ harvesting. Many people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Lindau is located on Lake Constance in Bavaria, Germany, borders Austria and faces Switzerland. It is a famous tourist destination and the starting point of southern Germany’s Alpine Road.

People Condemn the Persecution

After talking with a practitioner, a German couple, Stefan and Britta, signed the petition to help stop the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China while they are still alive.

Stefan, who works in the leisure industry said that killing people for their organs and using them for commercial purposes are unacceptable. His wife, Britta, a medical coordinator, said, “This kind of trafficking [live organ harvesting] is lawless and cruel.”

Praise for Falun Gong’s Guiding Principles

Ms. Sabine Hennig from Berlin saw the practitioners’ activities and talked with them for a long time. She signed the petition and expressed her opposition to injustice and abuse.

Ms. Sabine Hennig opposes injustice and abuse.

She said she studied Tibet’s history and understood how the CCP brainwashed people, destroyed their culture, and led children down the path of communism. She said she was from the former East Germany and experienced all of this as a child, so she knew what communism meant.

When she learned that Falun Gong is based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, but for 26 years in China, the CCP has prohibited people from practicing this, she said Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are, “Very appealing. I completely agree with these values.”
