Romania: Public Learn About Falun Dafa at an Information Day Event

Aug. 12, 2025 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Romania

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held their weekly activity in Brașov’s old town center on August 2, 2025. They distributed information, and people read the banners about Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution. Many people talked with practitioners and signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.

People praised Falun Dafa’s principles—Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance and said following them could solve the world’s problems and help people live happier lives. They encouraged practitioners to continue their activities.

Entrepreneur Praises Falun Dafa’s Guiding Principles

Ilona Postolache, an entrepreneur from Bârlad, said humanity is going through a moral crisis, and she feels it could be resolved by bringing the universal values of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance into people’s lives.

“It would be good if everyone put these principles into practice,” she said. “Many of the world’s problems would disappear. Truth is hard to practice, compassion is already beginning to disappear, and tolerance, unfortunately, is much the same. If they were brought back into effect now, or if the world were guided by them, I think we could make the earth a better place. A lot would change.”

She said that when the lack of reason and humanity wreaks havoc on a large scale, as in the case of the persecution of Falun Dafa, the awareness of this fact by good people can trigger change.

“I don’t know how much we in Romania can help them, but if we could lay even a small brick, we could at least sound the alarm. It’s hard to impress or convince the Chinese government, but even a small breeze can sometimes change the course,” she said.

Ilona encouraged practitioners to go all the way with their efforts to spread goodness.
“By following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance, there is room for everyone. Don’t lose hope and strength. In the end, good will prevail. Spread this as much as possible in Romania, because these are precepts that would be good for Romanians to follow. They can only help,” she said.

Professor: Romania Needs Falun Dafa

Tatiana Mironov, a canto and music teacher, as well as a Montessori educator, works partly in France and partly in Romania. She said she first heard of Falun Dafa 15 years ago while she was in France. The practitioner was an equestrian performer who started practicing Falun Dafa in China.

Professor Tatiana Mironov praises Falun Dafa.

Mironov said that in ancient times, people knew how to maintain a balanced life through self-cultivation and meditation, which is now confirmed by scientists. “Meditation is a practice. I am sure it will have an effect on the population. Let’s start learning from ancient cultures! An increasing number of scientists have begun demonstrating that energy exercises and ancient medicine are something that is scientifically supported,” she added.

She believes that it is time to rediscover that beneficial cultural heritage.

”The values of Falun Dafa are definitely good, and they are really needed in Romania. I’ve lived in France for 37 years. If most people respected these values, things would definitely change for the better,” she said.

She said she’s started reading Falun Dafa’s main book Zhuan Falun. “It’s very profound,” she said.

Economist: Falun Dafa Is Altruistic

Claudia Maria Mitru, an economist who lives in Norway, agrees with Falun Dafa’s values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Claudia Maria Mitru, economist, said that the whole world can benefit from the Falun Dafa principles.

She said, “They are like a logo for me in life, I am guided by them. Of course, they influence [society], but it depends on each person; everyone makes their own choice, you can’t force it. Nowadays, I think it’s necessary to be altruistic.”

Mitru sees the beauty of Falun Dafa in the altruistic nature of this practice, which she feels everyone in the world could enjoy.

“We weren’t born to be persecuted, we were born to be free. Keep going, because it’s awesome to be useful in this world!” she said.
