(Minghui.org) I am 59 years old this year, and I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. During these more than 20 years of cultivation, I have stumbled along until today under Master’s benevolent protection. Master has given me a lot, and I have no way to repay it, except by listening to his teachings, following him closely in Fa-rectification, doing the three things well, and saving more people.
Before I started practicing Falun Dafa, I was plagued by illnesses, although I was only in my 30s. I had stomach problems, neuralgic headaches, arthritis, tonsillitis, insomnia, and hemorrhoids after giving birth. I also had breast hyperplasia, and colds and fevers were common. I felt weak all over and could not lift my legs when I walked, so I often tripped and fell on the stairs, and sometimes even tore my pants.
Stomach problems were particularly troublesome for me. I did not dare to eat any cold food and had to keep my stomach warm all year round. If not, once the wind blew, I would suffer a stomachache. After that, headaches added to the pain, and my joints would hurt when I was tired. During the summer, I had to wear autumn clothes despite the heat. I could not remove the clothes even if I was sweating, or else once the wind blew on my body, I would suffer from joint aches and colds. In the winter, I needed to wear cotton-padded clothes very early, or else my joints would ache. Getting injections and taking medicine were commonplace for me.
I also suffered from insomnia. Sometimes I could not sleep for the whole night and would become listless when I worked the next day. Despite all this, I had to look after my child by myself. I felt groggy and confused all day long, and was sleepy too, but I just could not fall asleep. Those days really felt like years! I often asked the heavens why I led such a hard life and when this kind of living would come to an end.
In 1998, my father recommended Zhuan Falun to me highly, but when I heard that it was related to qigong, I did not feel like reading it. That was because I had come into contact with some qigong practices in my quest to be cured and had also asked so-called qigong masters to treat me before, but to no avail. However, my husband, who never liked to read, brought a copy of Zhuan Falun home, and he would read a few pages of it every night. One night, I thought of taking a look at the book to see what was written in it. So I picked up the book and flipped through it. Once I flipped through it, I could not bear to let go of the book. I had a thought that this was what I had been looking for many lifetimes! No words could describe my excitement. I read the book in two days and was determined to cultivate in Falun Dafa.
I got a copy of all the lectures that Master had published at that time, the exercise music cassette tape, and Master’s lecture recordings and videos. I also bought a video player and took it to a practitioner’s house to watch Master’s video lectures. I studied the Fa enthusiastically and regretted not practicing Dafa earlier.
As I studied the Fa and did the exercises, Master cleansed my body. A few months later, all my illnesses had disappeared. My insomnia was gone, and I could sleep well at night. My stomach problems were cured, such that I dared to eat cold and hot food. I was able to eat ice cream that I had not dared to eat for decades, and I did not feel any discomfort eating fruit that I had just taken directly out of the fridge. This was unimaginable in the past. My headaches and colds were gone as well. Master totally cleansed my body, and I have been free of illnesses ever since.
I live happily every day, feeling the breeze as I walk, and climbing the stairs easily in a relaxed manner. I really feel that I have been reborn! I’ve changed from a sick person with a sad face to a healthy person who is happy all day long.
My mother-in-law has two sons. As my brother-in-law did not have a house after getting married, he lived with his parents, eating and drinking without contributing a cent. My husband was very filial and usually did not return home empty-handed. Whenever we went to his parents’ home for the Chinese New Year and festivals, he would buy clothes and things for my mother-in-law and even give her money without telling me. I felt indignant about this and would often get angry at my husband.
Once, my brother-in-law borrowed 50 yuan from my husband without paying it back. When I wanted to get it from him, my husband would always stop me. My anger built up, as my brother-in-law’s three-member family was living at my mother-in-law’s house, and now he would not even return the money that he had borrowed from us. My husband and I worked in a company, while my brother-in-law was a civil servant, so his salary was much higher than ours. One day, when the whole family was present, I asked my brother-in-law to pay the money back. He still found a reason to argue about it. Finally, he returned the money.
After cultivating in Falun Dafa, I learned the principle of not gaining without losing. I understood that everything that happens in this world has causal relationships. Therefore, as a cultivator, we must let nature take its course. Through studying the Fa, my xinxing improved and my realm of thought improved too. I was no longer attached to fame and gain and would often buy things for my mother-in-law. If my mother-in-law liked the things in my house, I would bring them to her. Sometimes, even my husband could not bear to give them to her.
My mother-in-law was later diagnosed with heart problems and was often hospitalized. Every time she was hospitalized, she was hooked up to a monitor so she had to stay in bed and someone would need to help her with urination and defecation. Most of the time, these things were done by me and my husband. When I helped my mother-in-law with these things, the other patients in the same ward all thought that I was her daughter. I was usually very particular about cleanliness. Therefore, if not for cultivating in Falun Dafa, I would not have been able to do this.
When my brother-in-law wanted to buy a house, my mother-in-law asked us to lend him money, and so my husband lent him some money to buy the house. My brother-in-law then moved away when their child was in junior high school. His wife once told others, “We have been staying in the parents’ house for so many years, but my sister-in-law has never complained.” This is because Falun Dafa changed me, turning me from a selfish and calculating person into a person who is considerate all the time.
After my mother-in-law passed away, we bought a grave site for her without letting my brother-in-law spending any extra money. My husband and I were both laid off at our company when my daughter was attending school. Despite things being so difficult, we never asked our parents for a cent (my father-in-law was a civil servant). I worked aat different places and even took on dirty and tiring jobs. In order to save one yuan, I did not take the public bus when I was in the city. Both my husband and I have relied on our belief in Master and the Fa to have such healthy minds and bodies. We were thus able to pull through those trying times.
After my father-in-law passed away, I voluntarily took out my bank card to let my brother-in-law buy things needed for the funeral. When my parent-in-law’s house was sold, both brothers shared the profits equally, and each of our families bought a new house. This matter also involved my father-in-law’s new partner. When he was still alive, she would take all of his salary. After his demise, she still wanted more than half of his estate, or she would keep occupying his old house. My brother-in-law did not agree and wanted to sue her. I spoke with him and persuaded him to drop the idea, so he did not take that older lady to court. We agreed to her request, and the lady took the money and left happily. We sold the house very quickly. If not for cultivating in Falun Dafa, I may have behaved like my brother-in-law and fought it out with the lady too.
After my mother passed away, my father asked us to give up our inheritance rights, as he wanted to sell the old house and move into an apartment building instead. I took the lead to agree to his request. After that, he bought a new apartment. Ten years later, my father passed away and left a will to let his two sons each have one of his apartments, while my sister and I didn’t get anything. My sister and her husband were very angry because they thought that we had been very filial. According to the law, both sons and daughters should have inheritance rights. However, as I am a cultivator, I did not place much importance on these things. I just did my best to look after our parents. When my sister saw that I was not fighting about it, she was also too embarrassed to fight. Our family thus settled my father’s passing harmoniously.
During my more than 20 years of cultivating in Falun Dafa, I have experienced many miraculous things. These experiences destroyed my atheist thoughts and further strengthened my determination to cultivate in Falun Dafa in a steadfast manner. Here I will list a few examples:
In July 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Dafa. Groups of Falun Dafa practitioners let go of the attachments in their lives and stepped forward to seek redress for Falun Dafa and Master. I was one of them.
I was arrested when I went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing. When we were at the police station, a police officer hit me with a rubber rod. At that time, I did not feel any pain at all. When I took a shower later at the detention center, a woman who was detained saw it and asked me in surprise, “Does your back hurt?” I said no. She asked me to take a look at my back, and I was only able to see a purple-black patch on my butt. She said that my whole back looked like that. I was surprised, “Why didn’t I feel any pain?” After the incident, I understood that Master had taken the suffering in my place! Thank you, Master!
One summer day, I was giving a ride to a young man using my cab. It was about to rain, and I did not want to offer a ride to anyone. However, this young man said, “It is going to rain. If I don’t get home on time, my mother will be very worried.” I decided to agree to his request.
On the way, it rained harder and harder, and there was thunder and lightning too. It was difficult to see the roads clearly, so I drove on carefully. There was a dangerous bridge along the route, but I finally managed to drive him to his doorstep. His mother opened the door and hugged him as she brought him in. I could not see the roads to return clearly, so I just followed my instincts and made a U-turn and drove back. The sky was scarily dark. I could not see the roads clearly, and there was even a dangerous bridge to cross. What should I do? Just then, I remembered Master. Therefore, I turned on Master’s lecture recordings, and Master’s benevolent and bright voice sounded. It felt so cordial and warm. My surroundings immediately brightened up, and I was able to see the roads again. Even though the crop fields on both sides of the road were pitch black, I was no longer afraid. As I drove on, I listened to Master’s lectures, and my tears fell. I successfully crossed the dangerous bridge and got back onto the main roads. When I was about to enter the city, the rain stopped, and golden rays from the sunset emerged on the horizon. The sky had not turned dark yet. It had become so dark because of the storm.
There was another incident. As it often rains, it is not easy to drive on some of the village roads. I once drove a person to a factory in a village. As I was not familiar with the roads there, I drove onto a road that was under repair. In the end, my car wheel sank in some mud and I could not get it out. My back wheels turned in vain, and the mud splashed onto my car’s rear window. I got out of the car to check the conditions and stepped into a puddle of muddy water. On the surface, the road seemed normal, but a layer of its surface had already been removed. As it was raining and they had not leveled it out, the whole road surface had become a swamp.
When I looked around, there was no one in sight. As such, I could only sit in the car. However, when I accidentally stepped on the accelerator, it was as though someone gave my car a big push, and it immediately moved forward! I was so excited! I thought, “I have to go and see who helped me push the car. I need to thank that person immediately.” Just as I turned back, I saw Master! Master was dressed in a clean white shirt and blue pants. He smiled and looked at me. It was Master who helped me push my car out! When I wanted to take a closer look, Master vanished. I said in my heart, “Thank you, Master!”
One day last year, I could not find the key to my electric bike. I looked everywhere that I would normally put my key but to no avail, so I had to use the spare key. In my heart, I begged Master, “Master, please empower me to use the supernormal ability of telekinesis to find my key.”
A few days later, I went to the market with another practitioner. Just as I was about to get on my electric bike to head home, a miracle happened. I put my hand into my bag and fished out two keys. At that time, it really felt like magic. People who have not experienced it for themselves would never have believed it, because I often used this bag, so I had already searched through it many times. Master helped me once again.
There have been many incidents like that, so I will not list all of them. Initially, when I had just started practicing Dafa, under the prolonged influence of the CCP’s doctrine of atheism, I was not able to fully believe in Master and the Fa. However, with regular Fa study and self-cultivation, I am now able to fully believe that Master is right beside us, watching over every Falun Dafa practitioner all the time.
Master said,
“If you do cultivate, they will help you all the way to the end.” (Lecture Four, Zhuan Falun)
After seeing the tremendous changes in my physical and mental state after I started cultivating in Falun Dafa, my family have all supported me in my cultivation and provided convenient circumstances for me. Because of that, they have also obtained blissful rewards.
During the Chinese New Year in 2023, my daughter showed symptoms of facial paralysis. Her mouth was crooked, and her eyes were slanted. She needed to use her hands to close her mouth when she ate or drank, or else the food would flow out of her mouth. My daughter did not panic, nor was she afraid. She persisted in reciting “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and she recovered in a month.
A few years ago, my husband suddenly felt numbness in his leg. When he went to the hospital to be examined, the doctor said that there were multiple blockages in his brain. If the blockages occurred at a critical location in his brain, he would not be able to walk anymore. While he was hospitalized, my husband recited “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” sincerely. About 20 days later, he returned to normal. A few years have passed, and he is still in very good condition.
My granddaughter knew that Falun Dafa is good and often recites the phrases. She has never taken any medication or injections, even though she is now in secondary school. This was especially true during the pandemic. No one in our family contracted the virus, and our relatives all witnessed the supernatural ability of Falun Dafa.
This is really the manifestation of having a thought to treat Falun Dafa with kindness, and in return, the heavens will bestow one with blessings, peace, and safety.

As the Fa-rectification is coming to the human world, I am writing these experiences of mine down in the hope that every sentient being can quickly understand the truth, let go of their stubborn notions, abandon their atheist thoughts, and sincerely believe in “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” In this way, they will be able to remain safe in the calamity, and we can all return to our real homes together!
