(Minghui.org) The South Korea Minghui Summer Camp was held in Sancheong County, South Gyeongsang Province, from July 30 to August 2, 2025. Following the Minghui Summer Camp held in Daejeon last year, twenty primary school and junior high school students and fifteen teachers and parents participated in the camp this year. The four-day event included a variety of programs, such as watching films about Falun Gong and the persecution, learning songs, studying traditional etiquette, and participating in folk games, etc. One child exclaimed, “I feel very happy and had a lot of fun. I learned many new things. Even after the summer camp ends, I will remember Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.”
The camp is located near Jirisan Mountain next to a valley and features a unique natural environment.
As the camp was extended by a full day this year, the activities were more enriching and interesting. The person in charge of the Minghui Summer Camp, Principal Choi Youngsook, said, “I think the Minghui summer camp is a platform for young Dafa practitioners from all over South Korea to establish an affinity with one another. This encourages them to continue practicing Falun Dafa. The activities help them integrate Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance into their daily lives. I hope that these young Dafa practitioners can practice Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance while participating in this camp.”

The children read Zhuan Falun, memorized Hong Yin and did the five sets of exercises every day.
Camp attendees exchanged their thoughts on the topic of “looking within,” and discussed how they identified and eliminated their attachments. They also learned about the ancient cultural relics that were mentioned in Zhuan Falun.
Camp activities included watching the movie “Once We Were Divine” and the video “The Eternal Story,” learning to sing the song “The Nine Golden Words,” learning to make cups that are printed with the words ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance’, etc. These activities helped the children deepen their understanding of Falun Dafa.
The children participated in many enriching and interesting activities, including watching truth-clarification movies, learning to sing songs, studying traditional etiquette, participating in folk games, etc.
On the second and the third day the children enjoyed two hours in their accommodation’s spacious swimming pool. A variety of dishes were prepared, including chicken soup, soybean paste fried rice and fried pork cutlets. Watermelon, red bean shaved ice, pumpkins and corn were also served. The “sugar candy” experience, which was offered after the water activities on the third day, was especially popular.
The third night the practitioners wrote about their experiences and on the fourth morning they shared their thoughts about the camp, drawing a successful closure to the summer camp. The students expressed their gratitude to Master and said they would cultivate diligently in the future.
One child said he will remember Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance; another child said he felt the preciousness of being able to practice Falun Dafa.
Jiang Ruirun, a fifth-grade student said, “I felt very happy and had a lot of fun. I also experienced many new things. Even after the summer camp ends I will remember Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.”
Fifth-grade student Li Shanjun said, “At school, when students who spoke foul words were criticized, I would feel happy. However, after hearing the cultivation experience sharing articles on the Minghui website, I realized that I had the attachments to jealousy and a competitive mentality.”
Jin Baomin a sixth grade student said, “Through this summer camp I truly understand what Falun Gong is and how precious it is. I also experienced the importance of one’s state of mind. I want to focus when I study the Fa.”
Kim Si-woo a junior high school student said, “This summer camp helped me practice diligently. Exchanging experiences with many Dafa practitioners also benefited me a lot. I learned many things here and it also gave me the chance to take hardship as joy and become more diligent in my cultivation.”
Ms. Kim Song from Seoul attended the camp with her second-grade son and fourth-grade daughter, and said, “I’ve always wanted to give my children the best. But I used being busy as an excuse for not properly teaching them the exercises or encouraging them to study the Fa. During this summer camp the children studied the Fa, did the exercises, and even watched a movie and video. I feel that this summer camp far exceeded my expectations and I am very thankful to the teachers who organized it.”
Jin Junsong, a second-year junior high student said, “The holidays are very short and we also need to study. When my mother signed me up for this camp I initially panicked a little. Before I attended this camp I was a bit addicted to my mobile phone. But I discovered that compared to wasting time playing with my mobile phone, studying the Fa, cleansing myself and reflecting on myself through this summer camp is more meaningful. If the camp is held next year I’d like to participate.”
