(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Auckland, New Zealand held a group practice and rally at the Lumsden Green Park in Newmarket on August 23, 2025 to celebrate 450 million Chinese People who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

Many New Zealand residents are opposed to the CCP’s forced live organ harvesting for profit and hope that the persecution ends soon so that justice and compassion prevail. They also condemn the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa and expressed their support for the Chinese people who quit the CCP.

New Zealand Sailor: Admire Falun Dafa Practitioners’ Perseverance and Unremitting Efforts

Justin calls for the international community not to turn a blind eye to the CCP’s evil acts.

Justin, a New Zealand sailor, has traveled to and from China frequently for many years due to his job. He has paid attention to the human rights issue in China for a long time, especially when it comes to the CCP’s forced organ harvesting. He said, “I 100% believe that the CCP is doing forced organ harvesting. Money can buy everything and their political powers allow them to do things as they wish. The western countries choose to remain silent for their financial benefits. This is actually condoning such atrocities.”

He stressed that the New Zealand media should expose the truth instead of remaining silent due to monetary gains. “In China, the people are kind but the government is totally different. As they can escape from punishment, the persecution continued.”

Justin also recalled that he often saw Falun Dafa practitioners’ protest parades in Hong Kong. He signed petitions many times and even joined in the call for action in front of the Chinese Embassy. “You are the most persistent people. Over the past more than twenty years, you are still persisting and I really admire that.”

Justin also expressed his support for Chinese people quitting the CCP. He pointed out that if political powers are concentrated in the hands of a small group of people, that will inevitably bring corruption and suppression. Therefore, quitting the CCP is an important step to uphold justice and freedom.

He called out to the international community, “Forced organ harvesting is a crime against humanity so it must be stopped immediately. The Western countries need to stop feigning ignorance of this matter for their own benefits.”

New Zealander: The Chinese People Deserve a Better Future

Robynne Teed praises the Chinese people for quitting the CCP and choosing a wonderful future.

New Zealander, Robynne Teed was angry when she heard about the CCP’s killing of innocent lives, “This is unfair, innocent people should not die.” She thinks that the persecution must be stopped immediately and said no government has the right to deprive a person’s basic right to live and freedom to believe.

When she learned that more than 450 million Chinese people courageously quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, she said, “China will become better because of this. I wish them good luck and that they continue to persevere. I hope that they can breathe the air of freedom and live a blissful life. I support them in their choice. They deserve to have a better future.”

Stop Persecuting Innocent People

Kaine Kirby hopes that more people can understand the truth.

Kaine Kirby who works at a local printing plant, said that the CCP used tanks to suppress innocent citizens in 1989. He’s firmly opposed to the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, which he says completely disregards lives in order to reap benefits, “The CCP is totally wrong. It should stop such criminal acts immediately.”

With regards to the Chinese people who have already quit the CCP, he gave his full support and called for more people to see clearly what the CCP is and distance themselves from it. He also hoped that hatred and persecution can both end so that justice and compassion can continue.

Kaine said, “We are all human beings. We should not harm others. I hope that more people can understand the truth and stop the persecution of innocent people.”

Taiwan Couple Hopes People Quickly Wake Up

Mr. Cai and his wife from Taiwan moved to New Zealand thirty years ago. They became emotional when they saw the rally. Mr. Cai said, “As a Taiwanese of course I support Chinese people quitting of the CCP. If China becomes a democratic country, China and Taiwan will become good neighbors, just like New Zealand and Australia are.”

Mrs. Cai said, “The CCP’s forced organ harvesting that targets Falun Dafa practitioners is very barbaric. Nowadays, young people disappear for no reason in China. Some high school students suddenly disappeared. That is so pitiful! I hope that those brainwashed Chinese quickly wake up. Now, some Taiwanese are being misled by the fake prosperity in China and are also being brainwashed. I hope that they can quickly wake up, too.”

The couple gave practitioners a thumbs-up and said, “Please persist. You need to go to more places and hold such events so that more Western people can know about it.”

Falun Dafa Practitioners Describe How They Were Persecuted by the CCP

Eight Falun Dafa practitioners addressed the rally and used their personal experiences to expose the CCP’s persecution.

Mr. Huang said he was illegally detained for nearly three years beginning in 2002 because of his steadfast belief in Falun Dafa. His pregnant wife was beaten to death by the police when she was twenty-nine years old and their unborn child was not spared. Blood samples were collected from him three times when he was in prison, which he suspected were used to find a match for live organ transplantation. Luckily he was not killed. He called on people to clearly see the CCP’s true nature and distance themselves from it. He said the CCP not only brings disasters to the Chinese people, it is even more the shame of the entire human civilization.

Former engineer, Grace, shared her personal experience at the rally: After cultivating in Falun Dafa, her life and health was renewed. However, during the pandemic, she was arrested, her house was ransacked and she and her family were threatened because she talked to people about the persecution. She pointed out that the CCP’s persecution has already infiltrated other countries. On the surface, the persecution is aimed at Falun Dafa, but in reality, it is destroying human conscience and morality. Grace called on everyone to see through the CCP’s evil nature and quit it so they can welcome freedom and hope.

Ms. Chen said she started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. She was detained three times, her house was ransacked many times, her books and computer were confiscated, and she was sent to a brainwashing center. She went through long hours of standing punishment, was given little food and not allowed to sleep. She was beaten, verbally abused and subjected to mental torture. However, no matter the hardship, she still remained steadfast in her belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

Mr. Li from Shenzhen, China, started practicing in Falun Gong in May 1996. After he began cultivating he said there were obvious improvements in his physical health and mental state. He became positive, confident, and friendly. However, Jiang Zemin started the brutal persecution in July 1999. Because he refused to stop cultivating he was detained four times from 1999 to 2015, for nearly ten years. While he was detained in a forced labor camp he was subjected to various tortures including the tiger bench, long-term malnutrition and mental torture. All his teeth fell out, and he was in so much agony that every day felt like a year.

Mr. Li called on all Chinese people to see the CCP’s true nature. Not only is the Party persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, it also harms people. He hopes that the international community can pay attention to the current state of the practitioners in China, who are being persecuted by the CCP and lend a helping hand.
