(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 29 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Harassed and Arrested
3. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Qiuying Beaten by Police
4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiaoyun Detained
5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Han Xu Harassed
6. [Huaian City, Jiangsu Province] At Least 18 Practitioners Harassed
7. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Xiaomin Arrested
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Guiqin Arrested
9. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang Arrested
10. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Mingjie Detained

1. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Lin Canxian Faces Trial

Ms. Lin Canxian, nearly 80, was arrested in 2024 after someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released on bail for health issues. Ms. Lin was recently indicted by the Guixi City Procuratorate and is now facing trial by the Guixi City Court.

2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Harassed and Arrested

Meizi, family name unknown, had her home ransacked by Baonanliu Town Police Station officers on the morning of June 25, 2025. Her Falun Gong books were confiscated.

Mr. Bai Youquan and his wife were arrested around late June 2025. The police confiscated their computers and printers. While his wife was released shortly after, Mr. Bai was put into the Wei County Detention Center. The police submitted his case to the local procuratorate on July 9, 2025.

3. [Shanghai] Ms. Wang Qiuying Beaten by Police

Ms. Wang Qiuying was arrested by officers from the Putuo District Police Department and Shiquan Police Station in late July 2025 for distributing Falun Gong flyers. They beat her at the police station. She was unable to walk as a result.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiaoyun Detained

Ms. Wang Xiaoyun was arrested and taken to the Weifang City Detention Center on July 10, 2025. Her family haven’t been allowed to visit her.

5. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Han Xu Harassed

Mr. Han Xu was harassed at home by officers from the Baiyin City Domestic Security Division, the Silong Road Police Station, and the residential committee on July 25, 2025. They questioned him as to whether he would continue to stay in Baiyin City or return to Lanzhou soon. They threatened to continue monitoring him if he stays.

6. [Huaian City, Jiangsu Province] At Least 18 Practitioners Harassed

At least 18 practitioners have been harassed and photographed by the police and residential committee staffers since the beginning of 2025. They are: Yin Lanying, Zhang Shilan, Wang Huafen, Liu Zhengfu, Wei Shanrong, Zheng Ming, Ding Bailing, Shi Suhua, Feng Huizhen, Lin Fengying, He Cuiping, Sha Suyun, Shi Shoumei, Shi Feng, Wang Rongrong, Zhou Ling, Zhu Yunxia, and Hu Yunqin.

7. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Xiaomin Arrested

Xiaomin, family name unknown, was arrested by Tiangongying Township Police Station officers on July 25, 2025. She has since been released.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Guiqin Arrested

Ms. Geng Guiqin was arrested at home in the early morning of July 21, 2025. Three plainclothes officers from the Hushitai Police Station pretended to be her downstairs neighbor and asked to come inside her home to check a water leak. After she let them in, they ransacked her place, seized more than a hundred copies of Falun Gong books, three pictures of the founder of Falun Gong, and dozens of Falun Gong posters. She was taken to the police station and interrogated about the Falun Gong materials she had. She refused to answer their questions, and instead tried to clarify the facts about Falun Gong. She was released around 6 p.m.

9. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Junfang Arrested

Ms. Wu Junfang was arrested by the police and bailiffs from the local court on July 25, 2025.

10. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Mingjie Detained

Mr. Zhao Mingjie was arrested by Liaohe Police Station officers on July 22, 2025, when he was putting up Falun Gong flyers. He is being held in the Panjin City Third Detention Center.
