(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in the 14^th Puistofieta at Hämeenpuisto on August 3, 2025. This is an annual family-oriented event featuring culture, arts and community groups. This year’s festival attracted over 80 organizations and was well attended.

Falun Dafa practitioners set up an information booth and demonstrated the exercises. Many people stopped to watch. They also talked with practitioners and signed a petition that calls for an end to the persecution in China after they learned of the extent of the human rights abuses. At times, there was a line of people at the table waiting to sign the petition.

Several attendees went straight to the table to sign the petition because they were already aware of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa. A few people also told practitioners that they’ve seen similar activities in other cities and they already signed the petition. Some residents said they were interested in learning the exercises. When they were told where the local practice sites are located, they said they would go there to learn the exercises.

An elderly couple said they wanted to know about the cultivation aspect of Falun Dafa. The wife said she hopes to find a form of energy practice that has no formalities. A practitioner told her that Falun Dafa is a pure, direct cultivation path which focuses on improving people’s moral character. After chatting with practitioners, she said that she will learn more about the practice through the link to the website on the brochure.

A local resident was shocked to hear that the CCP harvests organs from practitioners and said, “This is horrifying! Hard to believe. It should not happen anywhere.” A practitioner pointed to another practitioner, and told the resident about the persecution her mother previously went through in China. The woman said, “This is shocking.”

A teacher who teaches religion recognized a practitioner who introduced Falun Dafa to her class. She said happily, “That presentation was good.”

Hannu, a retiree, said, “The CCP and China are two different matters. I wish you good luck.”

Kaisa, a graphics designer, went to the table to sign the petition at once after reading the flier. When a practitioner asked if she knew about the persecution, she said: “I just read the flier and was shocked, so we decided to sign the petition at once.”

Anders, a business owner, also came to the table to sign the petition and spoke to a practitioner for a long time. He gave many examples of how the CCP infiltrates Western society. He said: “The CCP spends a lot of money every year bribing media overseas so that many Western media don’t publish the truth.”

Many young people said they were interested in Falun Dafa and listened attentively as practitioners described the persecution in China. Most of them signed the petition.
