Fremont, California: People Praise Falun Dafa After Attending Free Class

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held another free exercise class at the Fremont Main Library on September 6, 2025. After learning the five exercises, the participants expressed their gratitude for Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) and said they benefited greatly.

Experiencing the Power of Compassion

Mohini said learning Falun Dafa let her experience the power of compassion.

Mohini said she was delighted to have the opportunity to learn Falun Dafa. “I loved today’s exercise class. This is my first time attending one. I feel great. I feel the energy and the power of compassion, and I feel calm and spiritual.

“I feel energized, and the pain in my body has eased and left me. I feel happy.”

She said she likes Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “These are excellent principles, but I need to work on forbearance and continue to follow them.”

She mentioned that her life has been difficult and her husband has been abusive. “Everyone around me treats me badly. I need to learn to be forbearing and compassionate. I need to understand the purpose of my life and why these people treat me this way. Perhaps the divine has shown me the way today.”

She was interested in Falun Dafa’s main book Zhuan Falun and said she would read it after seeing it online.

Finding Inner Energy

Computer engineer Chandan said he would continue practicing Falun Dafa.

Chandan, a computer engineer in the Silicon Valley, said he learned about the class at an event and came to learn the exercises.

After doing the exercises, he said, “This class is great. It helps me find my inner energy, and I feel good. I will continue practicing and further explore Falun Dafa.”

He believes that practicing can eliminate one’s karma. “We should be truthful, kind, and tolerant towards others.”

Likes the Principles

New practitioner Mary said her leg injury made it difficult for her to meditate like other practitioners. Speaking of the Falun Dafa exercise classes, she said, “The classes are very interesting. The exercises are very good and helpful, and I go to the park to join in the group exercises.

“I like the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,” she said. “But you have to follow these principles and act accordingly.”

Ms. Zhu said she would attend the next class.

Ms. Zhu participated in the group exercises in Fremont Central Park two months ago, and said she felt strong energy when she did the exercises during the class. “I feel completely clear and comfortable.”

After contacting Falun Dafa practitioners this July, Ms. Zhu went to Fremont Central Park to learn the exercises. “I had just given birth, and my abdomen and back ached. I went to the park to learn the exercises with practitioners. After practicing Falun Dafa I feel much better. I will come again when there is a class.”

Ms. Zhu’s husband had to take care of the children and was unable to attend the class. “Next time, I will help take care of the children so that he can come and learn the exercises.”

She said that Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance are great, but she hasn’t read the book yet. “I will read Zhuan Falun.”

Ha Pham said she would continue practicing Falun Dafa.

This was the first time Ha Pham, a Vietnamese-American, did the Falun Dafa exercises. She said she came to the class hoping to improve her health. “My health is terrible, and I want to get better.”

She was delighted to learn about Falun Dafa’s principles, Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. “I absolutely agree with them. I hope I can have a kind heart, do good deeds, be kind to others, and help others.” She said she would continue practicing Falun Dafa and attend the class held every Saturday in the park.

Chinese Woman Recovers from Surgery After Practicing

Ms. Zhou, who learned Falun Dafa on her own in China, said although she did the exercises, she struggled due to lack of instruction, so her movements were not correct. She previously underwent surgery and was very weak afterward, so she rested at home. “At the time, my health was very poor. Someone suggested I try Falun Dafa. I practiced at home, and slowly felt changes in my body.”

After coming to the United States, she continued to practice. “I’ve now returned to a healthy state. So I’ve been practicing Falun Dafa. I came here today to learn the exercises and correct my movements.”

She expressed her joy after attending the class, where she could learn and communicate with other practitioners. Her husband, Mr. Hou, also attended the class. He said that while doing the exercises, he felt some pain but was very comfortable afterward. “If you persist, it will be good for your health, and there will definitely be many benefits. I think I’ll continue practicing.”
