(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial

Ms. Li Yujuan, her daughter Ms. Hui Xiaoli, Mr. Li Yifang, and his wife Ms. Ma Huaizhen were scheduled to be tried on September 9, 2025 at Linyi City Detention Center.

2. [Dongguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xiao Yulan Officially Arrested

Ms. Xiao Yulan was arrested on the afternoon of August 19, 2025. Her arrest was approved around September 1.

3. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Lyu Shian Arrested

Practitioner Lyu Shian was arrested by Huaxin Police Station officers on the evening of September 5, 2025. Lyu’s home was ransacked. Lyu was taken to Pi County Lockup Center.

4. [Dongguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Chunyan Displaced

Ms. Zhang Chunyan’s husband was repeatedly harassed at work by Xie Weibiao, deputy director and other officers of Shijie Town Police Station in late August 2025. They pressured him into cooperating with the authorities and not allowing her to stay home. She has been forced into displacement.

5. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Xingxiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Xingxiang was arrested on August 28, 2025, by local police and those from Dehui City Police Department.

6. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Huanxin’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Jia Huanxin’s home was ransacked by officers from Hemujing Police Station, who broke into her home on September 1, 2025. They confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun, another Falun Gong book, Minghui Weekly, and an address book with phone numbers.

7. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Several Practitioners’ Homes Ransacked

Several Yanzha Police Station officers have ransacked the homes of Ms. Wang Xueping, 52; Ms. Wang Qiong, 55; Ms. Lei Guifang, 67; Mr. Wang Hongzhu, 54; and Mr. Wu Yunliang, 71, since August 26, 2025. The practitioners’ Falun Gong books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong were confiscated.

Mr. Wu was deceived into going to the Yanzha Police Station on September 4, only to be interrogated there. The officers also threatened, beat and verbally abused him while trying to force him to sign certain paperwork.

8. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yinghui Arrested

Ms. Liu Yinghui was arrested by Dehui City Domestic Security Division officers on August 28, 2025. She was forced to undergo a physical examination in the Changchun City Detention Center. The guards took pictures of her and drew a blood sample from her. She was released on August 29.

9. [Beijing] Practitioners Placed Under Surveillance Around the Clock

Ahead of the Chinese Communist Party’s military parade on September 3, 2025, Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing were placed under surveillance around the clock from August 25 to September 4. Each practitioner was monitored by four people in two shifts, one during the day and one at night. The harassers followed the practitioners whenever they went out.

10. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Sun Youlan Released From Prison

Ms. Sun Youlan was sentenced to two years in prison in 2023. She was released on August 12, 2025, after completing her term.

11. [Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Lin Jinli Arrested

Ms. Lin Jinli, 48, a native of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, went to Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province with her daughter for sightseeing. She was arrested by officers from the Guangling District Police Department in Yangzhou on August 10, 2025 and taken to a brainwashing center.

12. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Song Pingxiu Arrested

Ms. Song Pingxiu’s home was ransacked by officers from the Xichang City Police Department and community personnel on the morning of August 29, 2025. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, audio player, and her son’s cell phone.

Ms. Song, nearly 80, was arrested at 5 p.m. that afternoon by officers from the Xichang City Police Department and Xicheng Police Station. At the police station, she refused to cooperate during the interrogation. After an hour, the officers took her to the hospital for a physical exam. Given her high blood pressure (190/100 mmHg), she was deemed unfit for detention and was released.

The police contacted Ms. Song’s son the next day and ordered him to write a guarantee, promising that he would prevent his mother from distributing Falun Gong materials. They threatened to detain him if he or Ms. Song didn’t comply.
