(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 28 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Bairin Left Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yufen Tried

Ms. Li Yufen, 62, was tried by the Bairin Left Banner Court on September 10, 2025.

2. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Yan and Ms. Sun Shuyan Arrested

Ms. Liu Yan and Ms. Sun Shuyan were arrested at their respective homes by officers from Changde Police Station on September 9, 2025. Their homes were ransacked.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhu Qingjie Missing for Eight Months and Counting

Ms. Zhu Qingjie, in her 80s, has been missing since January 2025. Her family is unable to get in touch with her.

4. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Kejuan Arrested

Ms. Chen Kejuan was arrested on September 3, 2025. Her home was ransacked.

5. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Li Lixin Arrested

While distributing Falun Gong materials on the morning of September 3, 2025, practitioner Li Lixin was followed all the way back home and arrested by officers from the Xixiaoqu Police Station in Anci District. The officers ransacked Li’s home. Li’s non-practitioner family members were also taken to the police station and later released. Li is being detained in Langfang City Detention Center.

6. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Guizhi Harassed

Ms. Li Guizhi was harassed at home by two Yanjiao Town Police Station officers on the afternoon of September 1, 2025. They took photos of her and attempted to force her to stop practicing Falun Gong.

7. [Xinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Liang Shibing and Ms. Liu Yumei Arrested

Mr. Liang Shibing and Ms. Liu Yumei were arrested on August 21, 2025.

8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Held in Detention Centers

Over 20 practitioners were arrested on August 21, 2025. Among them, eight have been released after 15 days of detention. They are Gong Zun, Ms. Yan Xiumei and her son Mr. Yu Junjie, Liu Yuanjie, Ms. Shen Shufang, Liu Jianwei, and Wang Dekui.

At least six practitioners are still held in custody at Harbin City Detention Center and Shuangcheng District Detention Center. They are Ms. Zhou Chuanying and her husband, Mr. Yang Zhenyi, Liu Fujin, Li Xiukuan, Li Yanwen, and Zhao Xihua.

9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Guo Lirong Arrested

Practitioner Guo Lirong was arrested at home by local police. Guo’s home was ransacked on September 2, 2025. Guo was held in a detention facility in Zaohua Town.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Wu Qizhen Harassed

While Ms. Wu Qizhen was waiting for a train in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, to go back to Beijing on the afternoon of September 3, 2025, the security checked her ID card twice. One officer took photos of her with his cell phone. Only when he noticed that Ms. Wu’s family members were staring at him did he put down the phone. On the train, the security officers also harassed and questioned her.

11. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yuan Guijun Harassed

Ms. Yuan Guijun was harassed at home twice by the local police between July and August 2025, who also took pictures of her against her will.

12. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ding Jianchao Arrested

Mr. Ding Jianchao, a native of Yishui County, Shandong Province, was arrested by Jiehu Police Station officers in Jining City while distributing Falun Gong materials here on August 21, 2025. He is being held in Jining City Detention Center.
