(Minghui.org) Practitioners participated in the third “Hello, Health!” festival in Burgas to introduce Falun Dafa on September 13 and 14, 2025. This is the first time they have participated in the festival in Burgas.
Known as “the city of birds and lakes,” Burgas is also called “the summer festival capital of Bulgaria” because of the many cultural events and festivals that take place there until mid-autumn. The scenic area and the warm sea attract tourists from near and far, and the city is very lively.
The festival was held at the Flora Expo Center, located in Burgas’s seaside park next to the city’s beach. This year’s theme, “Kindness is the best music for the soul,” brought together many people who sought meaning and mindfulness in their lives to achieve better health.
This was the first time many people heard about Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
During a special event at the festival, practitioners introduced Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, to audience members.
They began with a brief history of its origins in 1992, when Master Li Hongzhi introduced Falun Dafa to the public. The audience learned about the benefits of the practice and its great effects on health.
Practitioners also informed attendees about the persecution of Falun Dafa by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which began in 1999 and continues to this day.

After the presentation, two practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises.
The entire hall was filled with people who followed along with the practitioners and did the exercises. Many expressed curiosity about the practice, and some praised the meditation and said they were relaxed but energized.
After the presentation, many people asked where they could learn and practice the exercises in the city, and the practitioner assistant for Burgas gave them his contact information.
In the early afternoon of the same day, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., practitioners set up an information booth near the festival to clarify the truth and raise awareness about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa in China.
Practitioners set up an information stand at the festival.
Practitioners displayed banners that described the CCP’s atrocities and also set up a table with a petition calling on the Bulgarian government not to allow Bulgarians to be involved in the CCP’s activities of forced harvesting of organs from practitioners.
Some people were interested in learning more about Dafa and the persecution, and many signed the petition to support them.
Practitioners talked to people and told them about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution in China. They also handed out flyers to passersby with information about the practice and the initiatives that the world, including Bulgaria, is taking to stop the violence against Falun Dafa practitioners in China.
