(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 22 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Shi Yuehua was alone at home on September 10, 2025, when a group of officers broke in. They arrested her and ransacked the place.
Ms. Zhao Lihui, about 75, went out to talk to people about Falun Gong around 7 a.m. on September 14, 2025, and was arrested near a university. The arresting officers from the Gongnong Police Station ransacked her home at around 4 p.m.
Ms. Liu Shuyan and her sister Ms. Liu Shulan were arrested between September 10 and September 13, 2025. Their homes were ransacked and their whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Wu Mingzhi, 76, was arrested at home by over 10 police officers led by Ma Jun, head of the Baojing County Domestic Security Division, at around 10 a.m. on September 1, 2025. Most of the officers were not in uniform. They started rummaging around her home as soon as they entered. They confiscated a laptop, several USB flash drives, a laminator, Falun Gong books, and other items, without providing a list of confiscated items. Ms. Wu was taken to the police department, had her blood drawn, and was interrogated. She was released around 6 p.m.
Ma brought several officers to search Ms. Wu’s home again on September 3. They did not find anything they were looking for.
Officers from the Zhangqiu District Police Department brought a group of officers to harass four practitioners on August 1, 2025. Ms. Liu Haizhen wasn’t home. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and ordered her family to reveal her whereabouts The restaurant run by her husband was forced to close. Her son was put on suspension by the factory where he worked. Ms. Liu went to the Longshan Town Police Station four days later to seek justice. She was immediately arrested and has been detained since.
Ms. Chen Zhongli was arrested at home after the police broke in by prying open her lock. They ransacked her place. She is being held in the Chenzhuang Detention Center.
Three officers from the Renzhao Town Police Station harassed several practitioners between June 21 and June 26, 2025. They took pictures of the practitioners. If a practitioner wasn’t home, they would return at a later time. Some practitioners were harassed five or six times. Sometimes, the officers stayed outside the practitioners’ homes for hours, which severely disrupted practitioners’ daily lives.
Mr. Zheng Zhijun and his wife, Mr. Zhao Minghua and his wife, Ms. Zhang Yuying, and Ms. Liang Junying were among those who were harassed.
Ms. Yang Cuilan was photographed at home by two Zhaijia Police Station officers on September 10, 2025. They also recorded her voice.
Ms. Wang Xiurong, 82, was placed under surveillance around the clock between August 22 and September 4, 2025, by security guards at the order of the Babaoshan Police Station. She was followed wherever she went, which seriously disrupted her daily life.
Mr. Jiang, a food delivery worker, has been missing since mid-August 2025.
Ms. Sun Yaxiang from Shenbei New Area was arrested by Huishan Police Station officers on September 12, 2025, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong at Puhe Farmers Market. She was released around 8 p.m. that evening, after she was denied admission by the local detention center due to her high blood pressure. The police threatened that they would continue to try to prosecute her.
Ms. Ni Xiaoying and Ms. Zhang Cui from Wenjiang District were reported by several students when they talked to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of August 30, 2025. The police searched Ms. Zhang’s bag and arrested both women. They photographed the practitioners at the Tianfu Police Station. Ms. Zhang was released after seven hours. Ms. Ni’s situation is unknown.

Mr. Jiang Shunbao was tried by the Luannan County Court on August 6. A second hearing on his case was scheduled for September 16, 2025.
