(Minghui.org) Aleksander, a volunteer for Shen Yun’s performances in Poland, received a call from an audience member, Rajchel on January 17, 2026. Rajchel said he read more than ten pages of Zhuan Falun and he liked the book very much.

Rajchel explained that he saw Shen Yun at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures—Opera Hall in Lublin the day before. After the performance, he chatted with Aleksander for about half an hour, purchased a copy of Zhuan Falun, and they exchanged phone numbers.

The next day, Rajchel called Aleksander and asked if there were other Falun Dafa books that he could purchase. Aleksander introduced Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) in detail to him and arranged to meet him the next day so he could share more materials and information. Rajchel was very appreciative.

During Shen Yun’s 14 sold-out performances in four Polish cities, Aleksander said he noticed audience members were very interested in Zhuan Falun and they purchased copies of the book.

Rajchel is the board director of multiple companies. His services include business consulting and managing religious organizations. He said the Shen Yun performances were, “Outstanding and meaningful.” “The values conveyed were encouraging. Very worth watching,” he said.

Another volunteer Waldemar, said he worked at the booth for several years. He shared a few stories from the performances this year.

“Before the performance a man came to purchase the book. He went directly to Zhuan Falun, looked at a few pages, and said, ‘I’m very interested in meditation. I want to read this book. This is what I’m looking for,’” Waldemar said.

Before a performance in Łódź a man came to the booth and looked at Zhuan Falun. When Waldemar told him it was a book about cultivation, he was very interested, kept saying thank you, and purchased a copy. “I feel like I will see this person again very soon. He was so quick, as if he came to the theater just to buy this book... This is truly wonderful,” Waldemar recalled.

During the intermission at another performance in Łódź, a man came to the booth and was interested in purchasing a copy of Zhuan Falun. WhenWaldemar explained that Shen Yun existed because of this book, the man immediately said, “Okay, I want two copies.” He hesitated for a moment and then said, “I want four copies. This way, all my good friends can read this book.”

A manager at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures—Opera Hall in Lublin who was in charge of communicating with the local host for the Shen Yun performances, came to the book booth one day and said, “I really want to know what is in this book.” She explained that her daughter brought friends to see Shen Yun, that the performance was wonderful, and they felt the show was better every year—the performances were amazing. Because she admired Shen Yun she wanted to learn what was written in Zhuan Falun. Afterwards, she left a note in her work group, “I finally bought this book.”

Another man came to the booth and said that he bought a copy of Zhuan Falun from Waldemar a year ago when he saw Shen Yun, and this time he wanted to chat with him. He explained that he unfortunately didn’t have time to read the book, but said, “I will definitely read Zhuan Falun now.”

A woman lived near the theater but did not have a ticket to see the show. She came to the theater to accompany her friend who came to see the performance. She chatted with Waldemar after the audience members went in. She purchased two copies of Zhuan Falun for herself and a good friend.

“Universal Truths”

Arkadiusz Małek, a professor, and Agnieszka Łeś, an accountant, saw Shen Yun in Lublin on January 17, 2026.

“This is a moment to reflect. We both enjoy beautiful dancing and thinking about life,” Mr. Małek said. “These are universal truths. We need to remind ourselves, because people often forget these truths.”

They purchased a copy of Zhuan Falun after the show. They hoped to learn how Shen Yun artists were, “Inspired by the values and truths in the book,” said Ms. Łeś.

“I like inspiring books, and content about divinity and values,” she said.

“An Emotional Message”

“The juxtaposition between ancient history and modernity was well presented, and this conflict continues to this day. There is an important message here, to not give up, and to constantly remember the Creator and to have hope in him,” said Mr. Stachyra.

“At times it [moved me], almost to tears. I didn’t expect there to be such an emotional message,” he said.

He purchased a copy of Zhuan Falun and said that the person who introduced the book at the booth told him, “This book changed his life,” so Mr. Stachyra wanted to read it.

“Both My Body and Mind Were Comforted”

Katarzyna Dajna, owner of an accounting firm, and her husband Zbigniew saw Shen Yun in Lublin on January 16.

Ms. Dajna said she did not feel well before she came to the theater, so she almost did not come. While watching Shen Yun, she felt incredible and beautiful energy. “My whole body, every cell could feel this impressive performance’s energy. Both my body and mind were comforted. I’m very excited,” she said.

The couple said the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance resonated with them. They purchased a copy of Zhuan Falun, “Because I already lack patience in daily life. In these difficult times, I lack calmness and always feel nervous, stressed, and busy. My life has become difficult,” Ms. Dajna explained. She said she hoped to improve herself and find calm by reading this book.

“Truly Incredible”

Małgorzata Kasperska, deputy chief accountant of a logistics company, and Paweł Rudaś, a geneticist, saw Shen Yun in Lublin on January 16. They also purchased a copy of Zhuan Falun.

“It was truly amazing, both in performance and content. The beautiful costumes, and the amount of work the artists put into them is clearly visible. I am very impressed,” Ms. Kasperska said.

Mr. Rudaś said, “An incredible message. I didn’t expect this from the performance. I was expecting to get to know some folklore, but I didn’t expect the performances to have such a strong, coherent, and consistent message. There is a lot about God, a lot about love, and a lot about values according to which we should all live, but which we somehow lose in the rush of life. So for me personally, it was a very philosophical experience, very metaphysical. Incredible, truly incredible, going beyond sound and image, very spiritual.”

He was surprised when he was told that Shen Yun cannot be performed in China. “We know that there is censorship in China, but we didn’t know that this group does not work in China, and that it is not supported by the Chinese government. It is very sad to me that while promoting their country, in fact they are promoting the best values that come from that country, they have to do so from abroad and are censored by that country.

“The Chinese authorities seem not to like God and they do not like any spirituality or any religion—as [they are] socialists. To them, the power is man, not God. And this is very sad, because the artists carry a very strong message. It is very sad that they cannot have this [performance] in their own country,” he said.
