(Minghui.org) Shen Yun Performing Arts continued its Taiwan tour by filling the theaters in Miaoli, Changhua, Chiayi, and Taipei from January 9 to 28, 2026.

At Shen Yun’s opening performance at the Chiayi Performing Arts Center on January 22, the company received flowers from Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang, Mayor of Chiayi Huang Min-hui, Director of Cultural Affairs Bureau of Chiayi City Hsieh Yu-che, and others.

On January 20, Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang (third from right) presented a certificate of appreciation to Shen Yun’s emcees on behalf of the county government, thanking Shen Yun for bringing a world-class artistic experience to audiences in southern Taiwan.

“Seeds of Kindness”

Former Constitutional Court Justice Huang Hung-hsia saw Shen Yun in Taipei on January 27.

“The performance uses art to sow the seeds of kindness, hoping that people will become better,” she said. “That people should not be obsessed with worldly fame and gains and should abandon evil and embrace good.”

“Connection with the Divine”

Company president Lin Chun-ming saw Shen Yun in Miaoli on January 9.

“I could see the connection with the divine in the backdrop. That is very important,” he said.

Mr. Lin said he was most moved by the energy field he could sense from the performers: “It was their understanding of the relationship between man and the heavens. That’s why they displayed deeper inner energy... When the heavens and man unite, everyone rejoices!” 

“Towards a Bright World”

Sculpture artist Yang P’ing-yu saw Shen Yun in Miaoli on January 9.

“Shen Yun guides the world upward towards a bright world,” he said. “I could sense Shen Yun’s Artistic Director’s ideals. The work he has done to pass on and spread Chinese culture moved me to tears.”

“Guiding Human Nature in the Right Direction”

Rai Hau-min, former President of the Judicial Yuan, saw Shen Yun in Taipei on January 27. He sent a floral basket to the company to wish their performances success.

“All of Shen Yun’s programs are the essence of human society’s traditional culture,” he said. “They are truly great. I like them very much.

“Having more deep performances like Shen Yun would be very helpful for society... They would guide human nature in the right direction and make people feel that living in this world is still quite meaningful. This is very important!”

“An Outstanding Performance”

Wu Hui-ling, company president and music teacher, saw Shen Yun in Changhua on January 16.

“Shen Yun performances definitely bring awe to the world!” she said.

She shared her feelings after the last program: “I felt that I was emitting light from inside out. My whole body kept shining. This was not something that we could see with our eyes. That was energy that I naturally radiated.

“Shen Yun truly is an outstanding performance. My inner lamp was switched on. My energy also became stronger. Thank you, Shen Yun!”

“Art at the Highest Level”

Diana Chen, a well-known sports figure and the founder of an American English school, saw Shen Yun in Changhua on January 17.

She described her experience watching the opening program where the Creator and divine beings descend from the heaven: “I really saw a kind of light... A kind of positive energy that can float and expand... I really felt that divine power. Very strong.” 

She also saw a strong “compassionate energy” and described the performance as “art at the highest level.”

“You really have to come experience it yourself. Then you’ll know how high of a level Shen Yun has reached,” Ms. Chen said.

“Truly Magical”

Chen Tzu-wen, Speaker of the Chiayi City Council, saw Shen Yun in Chiayi on January 22.

“It was not only a visual feast, but also a blessing. To cooperate so well that all dance steps are in sync—that level of difficulty must have required training for a very long time,” she said.

“It was truly magical. I was very touched!”

“Truly Stunning”

Yen Jen-hung, director of the Samadhi Tang Creative Puppet Troupe, saw Shen Yun in Chiayi on January 24.

“Truly stunning! ... You know that there must be so much going on behind the scenes,” he said.

He called the erhu solo performance “the pinnacle. Almost all the techniques for playing the erhu to its fullest potential could be heard in that piece,” Mr. Yen said.

“You Really Have to See it Yourself”

Wang Mei-hui, member of the Legislative Yuan, saw Shen Yun in Chiayi on January 24.

She said that she felt deeply moved as soon as the curtain opened. She was originally unsure “how one could be so moved when there were no spoken words.

“You really have to see it yourself. You will really be moved by all the people in the performance.” 

“A Display of Sincerity, Kindness, and Beauty”

Magistrate of Changhua County Wang Huei-mei saw Shen Yun in Changhua on January 18.

“It is often said that one minute on stage requires ten years of work off stage. Such rigorous training displayed sincerity, kindness, and beauty,” she said.

Ms. Wang said that the performance guides the next generations to “abandon confrontation and develop in a more positive direction.”

“Full of Divine Power”

Yeh Tsai-yi, former mayor of Chunan Township in Miaoli County, saw Shen Yun in Miaoli on January 9.

“Full of divine power. This divine power came from the divine world,” he said.

He said that every program contained the ideas of “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,” and enables people to “forget their troubles and feel both at peace and moved physically and mentally.”

“[The performance] significantly benefits and elevates the mind,” Mr. Yeh said.
