(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners held events in Belleville and the Châtelet district of Paris in September and October 2026. Many people stopped to watch the practitioners demonstrate the exercises. Some learned the exercises and many people signed the petition to end the persecution.

People Condemn the Persecution During Events in Belleville: “We Must Take Action!”

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, and collected signatures on a petition to stop the ongoing persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Jean-Jacques worked in accounting and was a teacher. This was the first time he heard about Falun Dafa, and how the CCP persecutes the practice, including the forced organ harvesting. “This is appalling and unacceptable! What is equally unacceptable is that this is an issue people never talk about. We know nothing about it. You must let people hear your voice!” he said.

“Nobody discusses these matters. I think the world is extremely selective in terms of emotion, stance, and action. No matter what, this must be brought up. In France people are more willing to buy electric vehicles produced in China—this involves the economic aspect. But this is exactly the other side of the issue. This [persecution] is nothing short of a scandal,” he said.

Catherine used to work in the finance field and said the way the CCP tortures and removes organs from practitioners exhibits the inner weakness of the perpetrators, but they are not aware of it.

“I don’t understand it. Conducting such surgeries on living bodies is so scary. Taking away their organs like this without seeking their consent is truly sickening. We must take action!” she said.

Marie works in the restaurant industry. Regarding the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa she said, “This is the same as depriving people of their ability to think, and turning them into robots. People must be able to freely think for themselves. But the current system does not allow it. This is very dangerous to mental health. It is terrible when a political party controls the brain.”

Visitors Voice Support at Châtelet Events: “We Fully Support Your Efforts”

Practitioners held events in Châtelet on the two Saturdays: September 26 and October 3. Social worker Paola said, “Persecution to the extent of forced organ harvesting is non-human and should not exist. This is appalling!”

Saad, a physical education teacher, said, “I’m very shocked to hear this. This is my first time hearing about organ trafficking. This is really hard to believe,” he said. As an athlete, he believed that exercising is beneficial to people, and sports can keep people healthy, so the government would not have to incur additional costs to treat sick people.

“Why did they choose these people to steal their organs? This is truly shocking. These things I heard about today make me feel very uneasy,” Saad said. He encouraged practitioners and told them to continue their efforts and they would succeed.

Patrice Coupin talked with a practitioner for a long time. He said, “It is truly hard to believe that humankind would do this to their own kin. Transplanting other people’s organs for profit—this is almost unimaginable. I dare to say this is absolutely insane. But people are indifferent to this. Life shouldn’t be like this.

“Even though all this has lasted for a long time, we still should hold onto hope and firmly believe without doubt,” he said.

Regarding Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, Patrice said, “To me, this is a key. A key that can open the door, a door that is waiting to be opened.”

He was also moved by practitioners and said, “They are not performing here. That silence and contemplation deeply moved me. I can feel their sincerity, their will to persevere, and their longing for freedom.”

Rasir, a bank executive, said watching the practitioners do the exercises made him feel a deep sense of serenity. He was appalled and saddened to hear about the persecution. He said, “As a big nation, China is known for its cultural and religious diversity. This situation is truly heartbreaking. But we fully support your efforts, and sincerely stand with you.” He said he will join the practitioners’ group exercise next time.

Babeth is a nurse and said she also experienced some discrimination and persecution because she is Jewish. “Extracting organs is appalling. This is the first time I heard about it. China is so closed up. It is one of the few countries that are completely closed, so they can do whatever they want to their citizens,” she said.

Regarding how practitioners adhere to Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, she said from the perspective of a nurse, “Patience and kindness are part of my role, and the nature of my job. I really should try following these principles.”
